the barbershop scene in shenmue 2 had me stuck for so long. i kept thinking that i just wasn't pressing the QTEs fast enough (because that's literally the only time in the game you're not supposed to press the big flashing buttons on the screen) and kept failing. the worst part was that you could only attempt it once every in-game day, and the barbershop wasn't open on certain days. so i had to keep going to the shop, failing, going all the way back to my apartment to sleep, going all the way back the next morning, hope the barber was open that day, wait until the time the shop actually opened, go in, and then fail the QTEs all over again. i had to repeat this like 10 times before i realized the game was fucking with me, and i could just put my controller down during the scene. that was an evil, evil moment in an absolutely amazing game.

I would say the other button you were told not to press in Portal 2 makes more sense to go on this list. When GLaDOS is the one that's corrupted. I know both of them are mandatory for progressing the story, but the first one actually causes something terrible to happen for the facility, while the one you included would have saved it, had Chell managed to even press the button.

The Shenmue one was fucked. I pressed it immediately. Like he said, you get sort of stuck into thinking QTEs are how the game is. For the most part it's true, but that one really fucked me up. That's the reason I have trust issues.

This is mostly about killing enemies quietly, but there is a fire alarm on the level that can get you a mission failed if there are any enemies left. I remember in world of Warcraft they had a "don't push this button" scenario in one of their raids. Ulduar. If you hit the button it activated a hard mode for a boss that made him almost unkillable at the time.

The Space Quest button was from the VGA remake, in the original version you could get yourself sent to The Castle in Kings Quest. And the rainbow effect it gives as seen in this video is a reference to what the time travel looks like in space quest 4

With The Stanley Parable, I thought that they were going to talk about the Apartment ending or the Wife ending (whatever you want call it, it's the ending you get if you pick up the phone instead of unplugging it) where your apartment gradually turns into your office and the Narrator tells you that the next time the screen tells you to press a button to not press it - but you need to to continue with the game. In fact, the Narrator explicitly tells you not to press THAT button, but I don't remember him ever actually vocally telling you to not turn on the machine beforehand. Sure, he tells you to tell you to turn it off but he doesn't actually ever say "Do NOT turn it on" either.

I'm adding Mimiron in World of Warcraft. Pushing a giant red button in the back of this boss's room that has "Do not push this button" written in the tooltip starts its hard mode, which was one of the hardest boss fights ever. And the boss comments on how you were not supposed to do this.

At the Portal 2 one: If you wouldn't have pressed that button, you wouldn't have been exploded. Said when building has a timer, that tells you how much time before the explosion.

In Zero Time Dilemma; the final entry to the Zero Escape series, after solving a room's puzzle in Team D's route you are given an option to press a button that says "do not push" pushing that button if you where extermally impatient, listened to Sigma or really really hate Phi, causes all 9 Decision Game participants to die in a nuclear explosion resulting in one of the games many dead end endings.
