Additionally any good English teacher understands that when speaking English, so long as what you are saying is fully understandable, you are speaking English correctly. Order and metaphor are unimportant. So yes, Laudanum is not literally 10% Opium and 90% Alcohol, but you understood from the sentence, despite all your complaints, Laudanum is made with Opium and Alcohol in surprising quantities. The fact you understood that enough to complain that it wasn't using literal language shows that it was a fully legitimate English sentence.

Preservatives are simply things that make the food a bad environment for microorganisms. 200 years is a heck of a lot of bacterial generations, after 200 years even if they irradiated their food there's a good chance it's going to have lil buggers munching on it... Though if it was vacuum sealed then it should be good across the board, wouldn't even have pesky air to oxidize it. (so probably as tasty as it ever was)

I've always thought it strange that some of the randomly fresh produce you find in caves or tombs in RPGs is just normal food. Like, in any Elder Scrolls game, this scenario can happen; You've just fought your way through a walled-off tomb, filled with the lumbering undead, and are low on health. You stagger over to a broken stone vase, and peer inside. Lo and behold! Nestled in with a lit torch and thousand year old gold coins that are still valid currency, there's a fresh and shiny apple! You can eat the *Thousand Year Old* apple without any ill effects whatsoever, completely ignoring the fact that it would have disintegrated by now.

Thing is, there's a skill for that. There's 2 in SAO: Fatal Bullet as well: Healing Bullet and Healing Field Shot. Either that, or the stim gun in R6S. The blood vials in Bloodborne are vials of Old Blood and their healing ability is not only claimed several times throughout the game, it's the very foundation of one of the two main organizations in the game. They also have defibs that work on a body that's been dead and cold for any amount of time with 0 ill effects on the person revived. Which begs the question, why the fuck do they have hospitals in L4D if a 1st aid kit and defib essientally make you fucking immortal?

Don't forget that *canned* dogfood is a health item in Fallout 4 (10 health, 2 rads), though it's now used to catch dogs in Wasteland Workshop's dog cages. Another one in Fallout 4 is the blood pack -- yes, a bag of blood -- which gives you back 50 health. (You also use it to make stimpaks, the game's best-known healing item, which raises some questions about those...)

Well, I think drinking a blood bag would do nothing and if if you inject it it heavily depends on your blood group and your rhesus factor if it is going to harm you or will replace the blood you lost from a wound. Though I don´t see, why it should help you for example against a burn from a molotowcoctail or poison.

Darthplagueis13 Yep. Even if we went out on a limb and assumed it was artificial blood (and thus typeless), it really shouldn't be doing what it's doing. But, given the stimpak is supposed to be injecting you with high-grade pharmaceuticals, I guess they felt including those in the game would be sending the wrong message. Thus, the bloodpack healing potion.
