Impressed with your videos and information that none of the sales persons at the dealership could tell. The car feels more than what it is. I have a GLE 400d which I bought last Dec and I needed help on the following: Here in India, the GLE is offered WITHOUT a sport mode in the Dynamic select, the only options that I have is Eco, Comfort and Offroad.....but no sports mode....Am i missing all the fun of the Sport Mode? Also, I have had my car visiting the workshop for 11 times in last 12 months to fix a rattling noise from my doors. I have read so many solutions online and on youtube where they have applied silicone sprays on the rubber beadings or non-friction plastic tapes on the door panels and so on. The MB workshop guys have applied cotton tapes on my car. However they have largely fixed the rattle noise but still I can hear some noises. It's not gone completely but reduced big time. Do you have a solution for it? I can share videos for you to guide me. It will be of great help.

I use the Sport mode all the time, as I've shown in my other video demo of the Dynamic Select operations here: bit.ly/MBZM-DS. Maybe your model doesn't have the Sport mode because it has Diesel engine, but I can't confirm because this model isn't offered in U.S market. As far as rattling, you need to find the root cause, instead of trying to suppress the noise. I would recommend removing the door panel completely. Then drive it to pinpoint if anything is loose. Also turn the audio speaker off, so you can rule out that sound is distorting from a blown audio speaker.

@@MBZMaster is there anyway I can share a clip so that you can guide me. Because the MB guys have done removing the panels multiple times and they don’t give up. With the most recent exercise they have reduced the friction between the rubber strips and the door panel. But there are traces of some noise on bad patches of road. Thanks for replying 👍

Hi and thank you for your videos. I am new to Mercedes. I switched from Escalade to 2022 GLS 450. Question; on my MBUX I do not have the full screen option on instrument cluster screen for navigation. Only can get to full screen on Assistance and Trip. Any suggestions?

Make sure to follow exactly like I showed in the video. First select Navi, then up and down sub-menu to "Display" and then hit enter. If you still don't see it, maybe your car needs a software update. It will come over-the-air a few times a year, or you can have your MB dealer to update it.

Thanks for the quick response. Also - the Multi media box has to be ordered from overseas? I am heading out of town for new years on Wed and would be great if I can pick up somewhere in Southern California.

Yes, AR requires more advanced MBUX system, but hopefully, that feature may be added to all the MBUX's with some future software updates. Multimedia Box has to be ordered directly from the manufacture because they do constant updates. In fact, they just released brand new model, which is upgraded to Android 11! It also has HDMI port now, so you can also connect it at home to TV or computer. It takes about 1 week to 10 days for delivery, although there are some holidays delays right now. Learn more about it here: bit.ly/MBZM-MMB . You can use your So. Cal address for delivery, if you plan to stay there for a while.

I love your videos It's a lot easier to move around the menus. I have a 2021 GLE450 with sport exhaust not that loud. Is there any way to increase the sound by digging deep into the dealer menu settings?

The acoustics of the Sport Exhaust System can be adjusted via DYNAMIC SELECT.

Very useful tips, thanks. One question : I have got a GLE350de 2022 . Tried to implement the dual display as per your advice but on the navigator menu I do not see the display menu to extend the map across the screen , instead it stays in the centre part. Any advice how to fix it? I am in U.K. .

That feature is available on MBUX systems equipped with Augmented Reality feature. Or, on models that came with AR provision, but missing that feature due to a worldwide semiconductor chips shortage.

Hi. Can you answer the following question: does Mercedes cla250 year 2014 have a dimming driver side mirror or non-dimming? Need to replace the mirror glass, and don’t know which one to buy 🤷🏻‍♂️. Thank you very much.

It should be the same as the passenger-side mirror, so you can see if it's dimming or not because it was optional. But if you're already changing for a new one, just put a dimming mirror. It's much better for your eyes at night.

So, are you replacing the mirror, or just a mirror glass? If you bought your car in U.S., 2014 CLA had to be equipped with Premium Package, in order to have the Auto Dimming Mirrors. So if you have Garage Door Opener and Compass, then you have Premium package, therefore the mirrors are self-dimmed. If not, you just have regular mirrors.

@@MBZMaster the car was bought in USA. But I’m still not sure. I called dealership, they have it but they can’t specify if it dimming on regular. Is there any other way to tell the mirror is dimming. I read somewhere that when it’s dimming mirrors the inside mirror has a sensor, and it interacts with side mirrors to dim them all together. Is there any sing or feature that can associate with dimming? I’m so confused on this seems to very simple question! Thank you

Did you read my previous comment? It's very simple. If your car is equipped with Garage Door Opener and Compass - then you have the Auto Dimming Mirrors. Otherwise, the mirrors are not dimming.

Any thoughts on why a 2020 C300 has everything in mph but a little kmh display of the speed is right above the speedometer, underneath the temperature/time?

It shows in both just FYI, so you can see the difference. Check your settings if you can turn the secondary km speed display off, if you don't want to see it.

I have a 2018 GLC300 and the tailgate no longer opens when the car is locked. Is there a "trick" or a problem?

This car has the central locking, so when you lock - it locks all the doors, rear gate and the gas flap. Does your SmartKey have 2 or 3 buttons? Is tailgate electrical or manual?

@@MBZMaster It's electric tailgate with a 3 button Smartkey. It has always allowed me to open the tailgate with key in pocket and locked doors with just a squeeze of the tailgate latch. Upon closing it would relock automatically. Now it won't open unless I unlock the car using the key

@@hootchymacootch4949 So your car has Keyless Go, Correct? If yes, does your car unlock front doors when you touch the door handles, while your key is in a pocket? Also, can you open the tailgate by pressing and holding the 3rd button, and then close the tailgate by pressing and holding the 3rd button? And another question, do you have the same problem with your second SmartKey? Or it only happens with one of the keys?

@@MBZMaster Yes doors unlock touching handles. Yes pressing the open and close button works. Same situation with both keys.

So it looks like the problem is not with a key, neither with Keyless Go. The problem is with the rear door sensor. Needs to be inspected, cleaned, or replaced if needed. Your car may be still under warranty if it's less than 4 yr old and less than 50k miles.

If you bought your car in the U.S - it's not true. Navigation is a standard equipment. But if you bought our car in Europe, I don't know, maybe it's an option. When you press Navi button, what do you see? Is there any message?

I bought in US when I press navigation there’s waiting for long time and I ask my dealership I need SD card I have MB before it’s always come with Navi .

In the U.S. there was no 2021 E300, only E350. Are you driving your car in the U.S or Europe? If driving outside the U.S., there maybe a missing map. You'd need a software update based on your location, but the Navigation system should be there already.
