this was super helpful! great reminders and I'd love to learn how to better read a nutrition label. everything feels so sneaky and misleading! I mostly cook/make homemade meals but finding snack ideas that wont throw off my goals has been tricky, I feel like I can't trust almost anything pre-made (especially as an american lol). some small feedback, and its nothing too negative, I think the thumbnail is a little misleading since the food shown with the X's on it wasn't featured, as well as being a (i'm assuming) better choice than everything mentioned in this vid :)

Couldn't agree more, I was recently in the US visiting family and I couldn't believe the amount of snack options available, yet it was so difficult to find good quality options.

Hi Aileen, I have never tasted them so I can't fully review. From looking at them online they tend to be good in terms of containing only a handful of ingredients, therefore they appear less processed in comparison to a lot of the other bars on the market. They do however seem to be quite low in protein, which would unfortunately make them less filling as a snack option. You could pair them with greek yogurt maybe to help with this. Some of the bars which I find good are RX bars, Perfect Bars, 88 Acres Bars, Larabars, CORE bars, KIND bars, Pickybars. I hope that helps, and thank you as always for watching my videos 💚

Maria what do you think about low carb bread. I usually use it because I am so afraid of gaining more weight. I need to loose some pounds for my daughter's wedding

Hi Brenda, Thank you for watching! I think low-carb bread has its place and can be helpful for some. However, sometimes it may not be as filling as regular bread, and then we can end up eating more of it or more of other foods, which can defeat its purpose. But for some people, it satisfies their craving for the texture of bread and works well. I think if you are trying to lose weight, using low-carb bread and pairing it with high protein toppings/fillings, etc, is a good strategy.
