Thank you very much for this video. I appreciate it. I understand the power set up for connecting the amps to the battery, grounding, and connecting the sub woofer to the amp. I'm a little lost at connecting the sub/amps to the stereo itself. I’m a real novice. I don’t intend to play my music too loud. I’ve got a beater, and the stock speakers are blown.

Don't understand how do you connect the subwoofer to cd player so that I can turn on the sub fonction ?
@keithburger72243 жыл бұрын
I used a line level converter. You disconnect the rear speaker wires and use them to send a signal to a subwoofer amplifier. Then when you use the fade from front to rear on the stock head unit, it increases or decreases the amount off bass from the subwoofer.
@keithburger72243 жыл бұрын
You will no longer have rear speakers. They are disconnected.
@STOPEJECTPLAY3 жыл бұрын
@@keithburger7224 you mean i can no longer use rear speakers when i turn on sub mode? It doesn't make sense no? Don't understand. Where does the remote amp turn on wire go?
@keithburger72242 жыл бұрын
I feel like this is a trick question? The line level converter detects the voltage of the stock amplifier turning on to power the speakers and uses that signal as an output to tell the amp to turn on. So the remote wire on the line level converter connects to the remote input on the amplifier. Eliminating the need to run a wire from the front of the car on a switched ignition lead. I hope that helps.
@skradaddy2 жыл бұрын
@@keithburger7224 my line output converter has no blue amp power on wire. It has a 4 speakers wires and a ground wire. I ran a blue amp wire to my fuse box for 35 on my honda civic then ran it to the amp.

Remote goes from the stereo to the amp. In your amp it should say where to go
@SixElites1Cup2 жыл бұрын
How do you hook it to the radio
@keithburger72242 жыл бұрын
The line level converter uses the rear left and right speaker wires to send a signal to it. So you need to cut the wires to the back speakers. You will no longer have back speakers. If you wire it properly the back speaker wires will send the signal to the RCA jacks and the voltage from the car turning on through the speakers will tell the Amplifier to turn on.

I found a way easier to pass the amp cable... Just take out the black plastic cover next to the battery... You will see a black cable and run your cable next to it... Then go to your tire and open up the black plastic you will see you cable through there... Once in there the is a black round plastic pull it out and run your cable through there and your cable will come inside your car... Then just run it all the way through your trunk
