Another excellent video. I suspect that, as the survey mentioned found, that we're looking at 3 months for significant lasting change. No point in hurrying either, as years of misalignment cannot be corrected overnight. I imagine it might be dangerous to try. Definitely worth persevering with, given the proximity to the brain.

I really appreciate these exercises. I've developed slightly rounded shoulders and a fatty lump on the back of the neck? I've fallen into bad habits when I'm on tech and playing the piano. Way too much leaning forward. I wanted to ask, have you ever seen anyone be able to reverse this condition and restore the original alignment? That is with enough dedication and consistent commitment to daily exercises like the ones you've demonstrated here. Or is it more of a case of the best we can hope for is to prevent it from getting any worse? I'd love to hear your professional take on this if you get a chance to respond. I'm new to your channel and find it really helpful for managing the pain caused by the misalignment.

Brilliant question Maria. It depends on how far the problem is gone and your age. If you don't have moderate to severe arthritis, then most of the problem is reversible with exercises, treatment and postural correction. What also helps, is to lie on your back on the floor with a rolled-up towel under that lump and let the head drop backward. Over time, that will help reduce the dent in the lump.

@@TheDrMoShow I appreciate you responding to me so much. Should I even sleep like this at night to help reduce the hunching? By the way, I've just turned 43 and as far as I'm aware, I don't have arthritis. You've just gained a new subscriber. Love your channel.

What are you thoughts on doing the isometrics also with a resistance band rather than hand pushes? I ask as I don’t want to risk flaring up issues with my arms, but also it feels more comfortable to use a door fixed resistance band where I can just spin 90 degrees for each side.
