I'm 58. Was an ultra runner. Struggled with SI joint issues all my life. I've always done some free wts. But never felt I was fully doing them well. I've been wanting to step things up. I found your channel a few days ago. I've really learned some great tips. I struggle with nutrition as well. I was happy to see your video on that topic too. Thank you!!

Aloha from Honolulu, JJ! I am a fairly new subscriber to your channel and I've been learning so very much from watching you! I am 71 years old, and have always done classes at my local gym but unfortunately it closed down during Covid. So I turned my TV room into a home gym and loving this more than fighting traffic, looking for a parking space, and running into a class that never really explained proper form and nutrition, which I am learning from your videos. I bought that large workout ball from your site on Amazon but haven't used it yet. Do you ever do workout classes on KZbin using this ball? Mahalo for that you do, JJ!

It's like you read my mind - this is exactly what I was looking for, just yesterday! I got a DEXA and have 0 visceral fat but some (more than I would like) subcutaneous fat. I realize I can't spot reduce, but I would love to reduce the overall subcutaneous just a bit. DEXA was awesome and showed I have great bone density despite menopause at 44. Thank you!! I appreciate.

Thank you for these great exercises I haven't worked out for 3 months because I have herniated discs I'm in physical therapy now but once I get healed I'll do these exercises except for the deadlifts which are not good for the lower back

Hi, great videos you have. I want to build some muscles on my lower body. Your legs look absolutely amazing, but I would like to build a bit more muscle than you have. I'm not looking to get really big like some body builders do at all, I just want to build more muscle. I want larger legs than you have. Do you have any videos for that or advice etc......? I've been looking at a lot of your videos and haven't seen this. Thank you very much! Or could I use this video in some way to do this?

I always forget about ball bridges for hams. 🙄 I'm wondering if there's a good reason why a door anchor and strong exercise band couldn't sub for the TRX.

A weighted vest for squats or lunges works for me

same. weighted vest for walks and exercises helps me so much more compared to barbells or dumbbells..I use a kettle bell sometimes but that's the only weight I feel like I' won't get injured with. On my "no gym" days I just wear the weighted vest around the house while doing easy chores or taking the baby/dog for a walk.

When u had the weights on ur shoulders u looked like u were leaning forward......also it seems like u have always lifted weights so not sure if l believe that u can get that body when ur starting older

Don't worry about looking like her. Just work out to be your best strongest self. I started following her in June. I turned 60 in August so I wanted to get in my best shape. I don't look just like her but my body transformed beyond my expectations just by following her advice. Eat protein, build muscle & sleep. I lost 32-1/2 lbs & found my muscles again.
