I had same questions. I’d also like to know how much it costs to fill up? How to did he learn to drive it? Did he have to get bus license? Just seems like it would be extremely costly to run but maybe it’s not since it’s running on solar. For a solar guy he really didn’t go into that too much and that’s where I have a lot of questions. I wanted more info on the solar. Plus why in the world hasn’t he switch to lithium batteries already? Is it bcz of costs or other reasons? Just left with lots of unanswered questions

@@ittybittykittyrescue4843 if it's registered as a motorhome, you don't need a bus license.
@Sandra-Armstrong2 жыл бұрын
@@ittybittykittyrescue4843 same here... Lots of questions!!! 😅 I'm gonna have to follow them now! He said it had over 100 gallon tank. If you assume 100 gallons and diesel is at $5/per gallon, then it'll be $500 minimum to fill up. 😬 Yeah, those numbers are tough on my brain. Plus the engine maintenance is a point of concern for me. What if it blows up, even if I'm maintaining it? Then all that money spent on the conversion is wasted? 😭😭😭 My heart can't take that. But, that space in there!!! OMG!!! Buses are so darn amazing!!!! I wonder how many miles it had when they bought it?? 🤔 I just wish I knew more about those engines. 🥺

Great build. Only thing i didn't like was how the top bunk barely had any head space while the bottom had plenty.
@Elizabeth-rq1vi2 жыл бұрын
I see that so often in renos & factory builds. I get claustrophobic just looking at them!
@XEvilxknievilX2 жыл бұрын
I think it was built that way so that the kids can sit upright on the bottom bed when they want to hang out and use the top one only when they sleep.
@Elizabeth-rq1vi2 жыл бұрын
@@XEvilxknievilX that's a logical reason. Poor one because then the top bunker can't sit up and be alone on their bed. I personally couldn't sleep on one as a child, it feels like I'm in a coffin. My grandparents had us sleep in their's and I got the top bunk because I was small.
@lesamcclain47952 жыл бұрын
You’re right about the top bunk with ZERO head space to lay, not sit up in the dark small space to play video games next to a big bright room for the parents. No signs that kids even live there until the bunk bed unfinished space. But thank goodness they have a dishwasher, ice maker, bathtub and a king bed. I really liked the bus until I saw the kids space. This guy making this video knows how to make a kids space that kids actually love to be in. Y’all go check that out and you’ll see how to make the kids a part of the home.

Beautiful home one of the nicest I have seen. Only question is don't you find it scary to haul a vehicle on the back when driving down a road or highway? I know I would find it vastly scary. With the length of the bus then another 20 ft give or take of a vehicle. Just turns alone must take some serious manuvering.
@xzqzq2 жыл бұрын
Long towing vehicle with short towed vehicle difficult combo. Forget backing up. I would usually detach the towed vehicle, move both, reattach. Whatever you do, keep the drive axles on solid ground. Turning in tight quarters, envision the rear axles making the turn around any obstacles....I found 40' coaches more maneuverable than 45'.
