Lack of purpose... yeah... The sad thing is, that many of us were raised by the parents, who were/are passive, whiny, having life-long victim mode. They lack purpose themselves, so they couldn't teach us how to choose the right purpose for our life, even in very difficult times. This lady's story is a proof how important it is for parents, to teach their kids and model to their kids how to live a life with a purpose and for a reason. I myself am doing my best to heal from CPTSD, yet living (unfortunately I can't afford living separately) with my always complaining parents makes it very difficult. Now I see the difference metioned by this lady : I was victimized, they live in a victim-mode. It's their identity, while I know that CPTSD is not my identity. I hope one day I will find the great purpose and great role models I could use as examples for myself

She sounds Hungarian . And Eger is in Hungary. Why my late father was my hero. He deserted the Hungarian army at age 18 when they ordered him to round up Jewish women and children. He knew he could have been hung from the first lamp post for desertion, but didn’t care. So then he is picked up by the Russians and put in concentration camp - and escaped twice. Thanks to strong women who aided his escape. These are true heroes to live life for and by , their example …. ♥️♥️♥️

This stuff did happen. Whether people approve or disapprove of what happened is another issue. We lost one line our family, and the Nazi transport and death records were digitized and finally found online by me, so that I could understand what happened. It did happen. Our family members disappeared. The Nazis tracked what happened to them. They murdered my relatives. It says it in German.

Its okay to talk about history but one should be careful to not perpetuate hatred. We must move onand get past this horrible time. Stalin, Idi Amin and others also did horrible genocide to their own people.Amin was perhaps most notoriously known for his violence and brutality. No one talks about those atrocities and it belongs in the past, as with all atrocities.
