A Crossbow Hunt At The Deer Camp

What we just watched is what has happened for generations at Michigan deer camps , and I can't help but get sentimental a bit . I'm 50 this year , and looking back now in my memories at how the torch gradually gets past on to the next . At our camp this generation is less then the last , and over a few drinks by the fire we wonder if it will be the last or who will tell out stories . Enjoyed your Sauna segment…brought back some funny memories of the Asiala boys burning down their sauna at their Pondersosa deer camp at Kaleva ,Mi….Boose played a factor..ha ha….Deer camps were a way of life in Northern lower Michigan..back 40 yrs ago..not so much any more..UP.. still has lots of them..which is a nice tradition to carry on..

Curious on the sauna does the steam not cause any mold on the wood?

Cedar interior is pretty water resistant. Also air flow inside when not using.
