I have a diesel powered truck heater--I think it cost me about one hundred and forty bucks from Vevor delivered--I bought some diesel fuel contaminated with a small amount of petrol for peanuts, and it works a treat and uses little fuel. It does need 12 volts to run the fans, but it has a closed flame, so there is no risk inside a closed vehicle, and I have set mine to draw air from outside and warm it, so I use a little more fuel than if I recirculated the air inside, by mounting it in a locker vented to the outside via a gauze pest excluder grille and automotive air filter.

It's a great place to live, lots of beaches some very rugged, to contrasting beaches safe for toddlers. One of many surf beaches, Shorham surf beach often has 40 surfers enjoying the waves. It is busy in summer with tourists. We have nature parks, marine parks and national parks. Bird life is prolific. There is a hot spring, many golf courses and wineries. Good work on the sink Jack! I'm a Cabinetmaker and have seen many seasoned workers cut the hole wrong and have the sink fall through the benchtop! The hot water system got me looking into electric systems for myself rather than gas now! Megan I'm going to shamelessly plug my friends books I thoroughly recommend - Michael Trant , Wild Dogs and his second one in the series No Trace and he has a third one in the works too! Brilliant books that would also make a good movie or TV series I reckon and it's all based on WA!

More awesomeness.... I'm so excited for you....... 1 more suggestion..... put a check valve on your hot and maybe cold water lines to your shower to minimize temperature fluctuations as the pump kicks on and off. My Nimbl camper didn't have one and it made showers quite interesting especially on cccccccold days!!!! Or perhaps you're putting a temperature controller in the system to have perfect water temp for Megan????
@heatherrowles99305 ай бұрын
Feeling for you with the cold out there in the bush, its cold enough on the coast, and windy again........ Myrtle is looking great and youre going great guns figuring out how to do everything, I'd be lost no matter how many videos I watched. I had a giggle watching you do a single apple for breakfast Megan. You can stew up a bunch of apples and freeze them in single serve amounts, just pop them in the microwave or store in zip locks and put in some boiling water to thaw and warm them through. Heaps less effort in the long run. Have you guys seen aurora Australis out your way? Its been visible in the city a few times recently, out on the farm would be a perfect spot to view it, no light pollution.

Well done guys - full on day and we really appreciate you 💓 Just a quick one about the corner tap - I really hope yours works out and you love the placement... but for those who are thinking of doing it - my converters installed my van tap on the corner, I actually didn't like how it looked but also it was so annoying to wash dishes. The water kept splashing all over the bench when you held a dish under the tap to wash it. So much mess I ended up getting someone to reposition it on the flat edge. Loving the van refit though and looking forward to seeing the final look.

I am so living this build series and seeing it all comes together. You're doing a great job and can't wait to see it finished, Such a huge accomplishment. You are so inspiring . I am curious though as to why you didn't add the egg yolk as well as the egg yolk is the most nutrient dense and healthiest part of the egg. So very curious as to why you would leave out the yolk and just have the white 😁

Great video. It’s a fantastic farm you live on. How many acres? I also thought, the pump is good for 11 litres a minute and your hot water tank is ten. You’ll mix hot and cold but I’d be quick in the shower lol. I got a continuous hot water unit. Think it was around $300.
@Panda555 ай бұрын
I think you will need to run an exhaust vent for the HWS gas. Also you need to consider a tempering valve on hot water that will go to the shower so you cant scold yourself. If you are going to have a mains water connection to the van you will need a pressure reduction valve, usually 350 kpa, so you dont blow up your pipe work if connected to a high pressure main. Keep up the good work.
@daveboxwell31515 ай бұрын
It's a 240/12 volt HWS, not a gas unit. Agree about the tempering valve though
