About alopecia- there are 2 different types. One is medical issue and non-reversible. This is the kind you pictured. The other is a lesser form, caused by damage due to wearing hair tightly, using damaging products and other such avoidable things. This second form of alopecia (I believe it's referred to as traction alopecia) is treatable and reversible, depending on the amount of damage done. So I fully believe she could have TA, but is presenting it as if she has AA (alopecia areata) which is where your confusion comes from. *Not defending her. Just explaining that there is more than one type, and it's completely understandable that one wouldn't be aware of this. Her not being specific leads to additional "pity" which she is after.*

I felt really bad for Will at first but after hearing both sides, his whole family is a result of his own ego. He was married when he met Jada and to pursued her immediately after his divorce. He knew Jada did not want marriage. He wanted his own image of perfection brought to life for the sake of his own success and Jada apparently did not attend the Oscars as Will's wife. She's narcissistic but he is no victim either. Their whole family image has been a sham and they are feeling the consequences of their actions, most notably Will - a man seemingly broken, wraught with shame, guilt and deep feelings of inadequacy. You have to be careful what you wish for. They had successful careers and got two beautiful, talented children out of their union but they are reaping what comes with building your life this way. Not even sure why you would even want to marry someone who didn't want to be your spouse other than just to satisfy your own desires.

I stayed because I was afraid to be alone, and honestly afraid of what people would say/the sunk cost fallacy--I'd invested so much time and energy in, I had to see it through. I agree with you about parenting, Leo. I ended a toxic marriage of 17 years and remain committed to being a great co-parent with my ex. Additionally, my kids are a huge factor in all my decisions about work and dating because it’s always at the forefront of my mind that I have three small kids; I don’t have the luxury of it all being just about me. There are three other tiny lives that are completely dependent on me and my choices to be okay. They don’t stop mattering just because things weren’t good with their dad. Believe me, there are times I wish I could be more selfish. But every time I’ve seen a parent become more about what’s good for them, excluding what’s best for their kids, it’s ended in trauma. And I want better for my kids. So they are always part of my equation.

JUST FOR INFORMATION'S SAKE: There are different types of alopecia (speaking as someone with alopecia themselves) and the type she could have is the most common, androgenous alopecia. What you showed was alopecia areata, which does produce these different bold spots, of various sizes. Androgenic alopecia causes the sparsity to decrease, which shows scalp through hair etc, etc. NOW SAYING THAT I looked at her head lol, and her hair does indeed seem sparse, but not as sparse (she maybe in early stages though idk) Do I think she may have alopecia? Yeah, she might. But she probably doesn't, I'm just more inclined not to believe her

The only thing I hold against Will Smith is that he slapped someone for insulting his wife, but he didn't do shit to Shane Dawson for sexualizing his, at the time minor, daughter. Her mother and her brother spoke up about it on twitter, but I would have the power and influence Will Smith has, I would have destroyed the career of someone doing this to my child.

I'm gonna say something that might be a hard pill for America to swallow. Most of the things Jada has said on her show, will isn't genuinely embarrassed by...... it's you guys who are embarrassing him more than anything. You guys treat will smith like some child who can't make any decisions of his own and its getting weird. Thats not me saying Jada never did or said anything wrong, im just saying the Internet makes it worse than how it really is for the two of them at this point. Another thing is y'all be slut shaming Jada but will had admitted that he has also been with multiple other women. Y'all also wouldn't be looking into this relationship if it weren't for August alsina, he used that woman for clout..... (obviously it didn't work long term) but everyone has been dragging her ever since....the only reason she has major relevance is because you all LOOK for her to say something to embarrass Will. Literally a couple weeks ago she stood up for will against the recent allegations and every reply was "omg can she shut up, she keeps embarrassing him." And reality is it wasn't that Deep. The Internet cares way more than it should if we're gonna be honest.
@Weeniehutnurse Жыл бұрын
Exactly. People are saying Jada has “emasculated” Will. No, Y’ALL “emasculated” him. Y’ALL make fun of him for things they’ve honestly been doing for so long if you actually been paying attention. It was not a secret that they were in an open relationship with the amount of women Will was with. They just didn’t comment on it to save Will’s image.

There are different types of alopecia. Such a big percent of population has it that I am certain she has it. Even losing hair with age is called alopecia. You were thinking of allopecia areata which is the one that leaves you without spots of hair. I have alopecia (basically just hairloss) at 21 and as a woman losing hair can be especially paintful - It is not a serious condition but it breaks your confidence completely and there is hardly any cure. I'm not defending her actions or anything but I doubt she lied about this one.

When I was studying to become a barber, we learnt that there are multiple types of alopecia that are caused by a variety of different things, and I have seen a lot of people online who have been very quick to jump on the "oh no, you poor thing, I have to defend you online" wagon, when not all alopecia is necessarily that bad and can be easily remedied by the smallest things. All "alopecia" is, is a fancy scientific word for hair loss. Granted, for a woman, hair loss can sometimes be a bit more of a brutal thing to go through, no matter how miniscule the problem may be, especially when a lot of beauty standards revolve around a woman's hair, while I think a lot of guys tend to be more accepting of it, since it is a lot more common, and most dudes tend to not care at all once they reach a certain age (seriously, dudes will come into a barbershop after working all day with hardened cement and plaster dust in their hair, and go "oh, is my hair dirty?" Like, bruh). Below is the most basic of basic rundowns of different forms of alopecia (this also isn't all of them, as hair loss can be caused by a multitude of different factors): - Male-pattern baldness. This is pretty common, and is a hereditary form of alopecia, which usually stems from your mother's side of the family, sometimes not even your immediate relatives. It's in a similar vein to people who have babies with ginger hair, yet neither of their parents or grandparents have ginger hair; it's because it came from one or more generations prior. - Tying your hair up too tight, or wearing tight hats or other headwear can cause your hair to be torn or rubbed out (via friction) at the root. A few cultural hairstyles and headdresses can cause this too, such as cornrows/braids, dreadlocks and turbans, and sometimes the effects are irreversible. - Hair falling out due to stress or other mental illnesses - Chemotherapy (one of the more commonly known ones) - Bleach and hair colour. Bleach is the most notorious for this, as bleach can burn your scalp and leave scarring, and scar tissue doesn't grow hair. Also, leaving bleach in too long can cause your hair to turn into a chewing gum-like substance, and at that point, the hair loses all of its natural elasticity, and just snaps and falls out. The rarer form of alopecia that causes all of your body hair to fall out, sometimes just leaving behind occasional patches, or nothing at all, is the form that most people associate with the term "alopecia" due to ignorance (I was one of these people prior to my course), which can be caused by immune disorders or hormone imbalances (an example of this form of alopecia can be found with the actor Anthony Carrigan; who happens to be one of Jada's co-stars in Fox's Gotham TV series). From everything that I've seen with Jada's hair loss, she doesn't appear to have this last case, and if anything, it is likely to be one of the more mild alopecia types that can be fairly easily remedied (especially with the amount of money the Smith's have, and the various alternative options that are available to them, when compared to the average person). I don't know if she possibly misunderstood what her doctor told her about the type of alopecia she had (aka, just pure ignorance) and jumped to conclusions, or whether she wanted to play the victim, and make people think her condition is more serious than it likely is, to get more attention, I'm not sure... but with everything that she does to get into the spotlight (in particular, this more recent public Will Smith emasculation campaign she's been on to promote her book), I wouldn't be surprised if it is a form of manipulation for attention, since she is, and will likely forever be, nowhere near the celebrity status that Will's at. (Apologies for the long-ass comment 😅)

I had listened to the whole video, and while I appreciated the effort that it took into making this video and I love how you make it entertaining and not boring, but this video is definitely leaning heavily on will's side - quickly sweeping his faults aside while emphasizing on jada's flaws. Case in point when talking about their wedding, it should be mentioned that jada felt like she was forced into it because both Will and her mom convinced her to do so despite both of them knowing that jada never believed in traditional marriage and hates it - being pregnant at the time, and always feeling tired and sick, jada eventually agreed to marry Will after being persuaded to do so (it was in the same red table talk video that you used, not sure why you decided to not include it in a video that was supposed to be a deep dive into their relationship). I'm not saying jada is an angel, or that you should favour her over Will (she's highly unlikeable, and doesn't have the best personality, so I get why people are so eager to just focus on shitting on her). I'm just saying that if you want to do a deep dive into their relationship, then you should have discusses about both of their faults equally, and not just leaning heavily on one side while trying to present the other side as the pure victim who did nothing wrong. They both hurt each other, they both are toxic to each other, and sadly their children had to suffer for it. Patrick CC made a similar video, and it is honestly a good video that show both sides with no clear bias to either one of them

I get what you’re saying. And, they’re both obviously narcissistic but she’s shown to be way more narcissistic, at least recorded publicly. And if you know anything about narcissistic people they will do anything to garner sympathy. So maybe she wasn’t actually feeling forced she just said that after the fact. Same way she tried to change the narrative about sleeping w her sons best friend by saying it was an “entanglement ”. Idk if you know much about the boogie2988 situation. But, he’s always been about trauma dumping, and garnering sympathy for everything. Even admits he’s a covert narcissist. So he may actually struggle w the issues he says BUT when someone has acted as an abusive/toxic/narcissistic personality on record for all to see you start to lose the ability to feel bad for them as you start to see the holes in their soul. Same w her. She may actually have dealt w issues. And, those things are unfortunate and sad if true. We just don’t have anyone’s word besides her and her narrative is constantly changing. And she time and time again throws him under the bus. If she actually did feel forced into the marriage it gives her no excuse to enact some type of revenge on a grudge she may have by publicly embarrassing him time and time again. Even not being on his side when he ruined his career for her. She said things like “I was surprised he called me his wife” and “I couldn’t believe he’d do that” just to further flog him by basically saying in the book “btw he ruined his career for me even tho we haven’t been together for years. How crazy?” Whereas he has consistently, on record, stood by her side. Even after all the embarrassment he refuses to even slightly talk bad about her. So I know your heart is in the right place but based on just what’s out to find publicly it almost always weighs better on his side.

@violetbeaumont4092 Жыл бұрын
@@sorryimsosad Yes, Jada has shown to be a much terrible person in comparison to Will, and has been behaving or reacting inappropriately in most of the situations that we were made aware of. I'm not denying that nor do I have the intention of defending her or excusing any of her behavior - my first comment is more of a critique of the video as the video seems to be more bias towards Will rather than trying to look at both side and presenting all of the available information to the audience to let them decide themselves who's actually at fault for the demise of their relationship (spoiler alert, it's both of them but the video seems to suggest that it was *only* Jada's fault rather than saying that it was both of them). If I'm going to watch a deep-dive video about their dysfunctional relationship, then I expect that the creator to be fair in their judgement and do their research about how exactly both of them contributed to the deterioration of the relationship instead of solely focusing on how Jada, and Jada *alone* caused the relationship to end. A fair video which clearly describe and explain how both sides caused the decay of the relationship can make the viewer understand that they are both at fault, and while there may be moments where some might feel bad for one side (whether that be Will or Jada's side), the viewer can still recognized that both of them are toxic and horrible towards each other, and hold them accountable for their parts in the breakdown of their relationship. Also, not really important but since I already used it as an example in my first comment, when Jada said she hates traditional wedding and that she felt compelled to say yes when Will asked her to marry him, both Will and her mom supported this statement and they talked about how she was so upset and cried when walking down the aisle with Will (which, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think leo did mentioned about she was sad at her own wedding).
