I review the awful sequel to the live action Fairly Odd Parents Movie starring Drake Bell. With thanks to www.ignitemotion.com/ for providing the snow!

The movie's logic says that if Timmy acts like a child he technically is a child. Which is stupid
@lehahiah819 жыл бұрын
+fungirlninja I just realized something disturbing. If pedos were in the fairly oddparents universe are they able to get away with a relationship just for being childish. I mean timmy already has a creeper van.
@AnAnomalySpeaks8 жыл бұрын
That was the first episode of The Fairly Oddparents show's logic. In the first episode of the series (not counting the Oh Yeah! shorts) he wished he could be an adult. But the only way he could get his Godparents back to get him to be a child again was that he had to act like one.
@snugglehyena91718 жыл бұрын
+Kat M the only reason that made sense was because he wished he was an adult, and acted like a child at heart
@AnAnomalySpeaks8 жыл бұрын
Snuggle Hyena I'd think that it wouldn't matter if he wished himself to be an adult to do that but I guess you're right.

The entire Fairly Odd Universe would be better if the fairy wands could only grant so many wishes, or use so much "wish power" within ___ amount of time. Perhaps they need to be recharged or something. I don't know.

To be fair, having a story about an adult timmy acting like a kid long after he should have grown up and got a life IS made funnier in a sort of cruel ironic meta joke way by having it be live action and star Drake Bell, because I tuned out years ago and I really thought he would have moved on by now.

Dumbsmo and Nagda are really terrible in all 3 movies! They spout really stupid one-liners and make themselves look like plot devices, which by the way, they don't even bother turning into something Christmas themed or whatever. Their glands turn them into anything they want, but at this point, Butch doesn't care about his creations anymore. He just wants money just like the cash cows at Nickelodeon: The home of overrated memes
@marvinthemaniac76983 жыл бұрын
Stephen Hillenburg stopped caring about his creation after the Spongebob movie, which is why his name doesn't appear anywhere in the opening credits to Scumbob episodes.

My biggest issue with the first one of these movies is how Tootie had to become pretty for Timmy to like her. Ever since I saw it, I thought that Cloudy With a Chance of Meatball's beauty going to beast (sort of as Sam was still pretty) would pave the way for more, "Anyone can find love!" but no, the first special pretty much said, "You have to be hot to find love!" Which is just one of the many, many flaws. Irrelevant comment over.
@Cubester6410 жыл бұрын
Are you going to review the newest episode of the Fairly Odd Parents? It was hyped up as "the episode where Poof speaks", and not only was it a lame concept, but his voice is like a more annoying version of Timmy's. For the record, it's called "School of Crock". Another episode that I hope you could review is "Fairly Odd Pet", where Timmy gets a magic dog.
@1SpeedyYoshi10 жыл бұрын
First a fairy baby, then a fairy dog... what's next, a fairy house? A fairy teacher? ... If you look at the word fairy too long, it looks really weird...
@Cubester6410 жыл бұрын
1SpeedyYoshi "School of Crock" is where Crocker becomes a teacher for faries and other magical creatures. So to an extent, there is a fairy teacher.
@1SpeedyYoshi10 жыл бұрын
Cubester64 Well, technically, he's still human.. and also, if poof is the only fairy baby, what is the girl in "love triangle"? And what is the teacher?

+DBZCOURT this goes beyond continuity, these are rules the show established for itself in the past. with a show like this, where there's magic, you kinda need rules to keep it interesting. otherwise it'd just be a show about a kid who can wish for anything he wants with no restrictions, there'd be virtually no conflict, and there's no point. but now the show's just like "we know this goes against the rules we ourselves set up but...uh....it's allowed now because...uhh....hey look, a new character!"
@maryk72628 жыл бұрын
***** yeah, and Poof in a way. But Poof I can forgive (kinda) because we got a couple of good episodes out of him, there's Foop, and because of his lack of character (from being a baby) you usually forget he's there so he doesn't do much good or harm most of the time. Hell, this episode even forgot to put him in
@maryk72628 жыл бұрын
***** agreed. I didn't mind at all that Sparky wasn't in this episode but it did seem strange that Poof wasn't there. He's a baby, and needs to be around Cosmo and Wanda. There's so many characters that hardly show up anymore, maybe they could come up with some good ideas and not feel the need to shoehorn more characters in if they used more of the really good characters they already have. Timmy never hangs out with his friends anymore and at this point, his parents seem like neglectful assholes. they used to be ignorant at worst but cared about Timmy's well-being, but now it seems like they don't really care for the most part and are never there. and now, Timmy's life revolves around his fairies. they used to just help Timmy solve his problems (usually involved with school or home) and were there for support. now, Timmy has no life outside of his fairies and it's kinda sad

It's actually hard for me to determine if this one or the first one is "more tolerable". The first one was god awful. But there's something about how stupid this one is, that sort of lessened the blow. But this movie represents something that...frankly hasn't been talked about that I'd think people who do reviews should talk about; the Plot of this movie is a blatant Rip Off. But not JUST from Wishmas like you said, but from somewhere else. This movie is a rip off of the Jimmy Neutron Christmas special. Jimmy accidentally hurts Santa, and by doing so, now has to BE Santa that year. Even look at how Santa gets hurt; it's almost exactly the same.

Not to mention Teen Nick with The 90's Are all That, which hasn't been touched by the big wigs at Nick in months. At first, it was a great block full of nostalgia and classic Nickelodeon. However, they still air the exact same bumpers that aired last July (I never thought I'd say this, but, I'm really tired of hearing about Stoop Kid sitting on his stoop) and there hasn't been a single new, for lack of a better word, show in a long time, yet the bumpers have more of the older shows from the 90's
