This explains many things. The sweetest engine sound I have ever heard is a Ferrari 333sp racecar at LeMans in 1995. It genuinely sounded like the musical note of a bow being drawn across violin strings. Magical.

Beauty is by design. I remember as a young teenager when I first rode in a Ferrari 308GTS. My first impressions were the symphony of sound that correlated to the power and driving experience. An amazing experience which is still etched in my memory till today. This video really brings this to life with the modern V12.

maro ma che ti frega, tra 40 anni o finiamo il petrolio o siamo tutti morti, lascia la benzina alle piste da corsa! abbiamo dei motori V12 nel WEC e la 24 ore di le mans e voi state ancora a vedere la F1 che tra due anni diventa 50% elettrica, e poi vi lamentate pure se la ferrari fa un EV (non dico a te, non so se segui o no la F1 ma molta gente segue la F1 e si lamenta per l'elettrico anche se quelli per proteggere gli interessi di due sauditi stanno spingendo l'elettrico in tutto il motorsport, dove non appartiene al contrario della strada dove é ottimale)

It’s interesting how Ferraris from the ‘60’s had the perfect sound emanating from their v12s. A melodic symphony that speaks to your soul as the engine revs thru the rpm’s. And now all these years later between technology and emission standards and whatever else that sound is lost. And the only way to find is to build a department around it in hopes of finding that perfect sound.

Le 812SF in uk erano vendute tutte prima di che la macchina fosse presentata. La 12 Cilindri piace cosi' poco che tre concessionari mi hanno chiamato per offrirmi un allocazione con delivery nel primo trimestre. Mentre i prezzi di Roma Portofino SF90 e 296 si sciolgono al sole. Senza scarico Novitec si perde il 90% del piacere. Mi tengo la mia 812

Once upon a time I have been going to my university by route- taxi. And watched over the window guy that drove 458 italia and G-class mercedes with bodyguard. They have been driving from lane to lane along a wide boulevard, surrounded by houses from the time of the Russian Empire. The guards could not keep up with the boy. And were able to catch up with him only when he stopped to pick up the chick on Victory Square. Now that strange tandem of cars sounds like corruption to me.

their flagship cars hasn't always had V12's but they are made to be the fastest Ferrari of their generation, if you want a Top V12 Ferrari they made the Icona series just for that, with the daytona SP3 and Monza SP1,2 the latest models so far.

Non voglio fare il solito bigotto, insomma la ricerca deve andare avanti, l’evoluzione, gli affinamenti, mettiamoci tutto quello che vogliamo…ma a me sembra che si stiano raggiungendo livelli fin troppo maniacali, esasperare ricerca e sviluppo di certi ambiti…non so mi sembrerebbe più ovvio impegnare 20 ingegneri alla ricerca di nuove soluzioni. Ad esempio perché Ferrari non investe tempo, denaro, risorse per sviluppare una scocca pressofusa in stile tesla…al posto di ricercare la perfezione del suono.

The V12 engine is fantastic but seriously, you don't need an entire department to make the exhaust sound. One engineer who works on the engine team can be responsible for designing the exhaust to give a nice sound. Your organisation is too fat, you are employing too many unnecessary people. I'm sure there are more areas like this where so many staff are not required. Become lean because it will make you better, faster and leave more money for racing
