@@netwatch7261 yep, he isn't a bas fighter, but his chin really hold him down he has power and a wrestling good enough to take down people even when he's hurted, but by comparing him to another fighter whit a similar chin like Whittaker (who may is even a better hit taker), Hawes is nowhere near him in terms of skillset he recently got released by the ufc, it is what it is, he may will find succes in pfl, who knows

I love Malkoun simply for this single leg, him hitting it 20 times against maximov was hysterical. Great technique yet such a middleweight thing to have it as your only technique

Great video, the critique I'm about to file is unimportant but as a wrestler it'll bug me if I don't say it: he's *technically* shooting a hi-crotch and running the pipe from there, not a single. A single is head on the inside. Hi-c's convert the takedown with the head on the outside. Again, love your stuff, always nice to see!

I remember when I started jiu jitsu about ten years ago, all the "experts" said that single legs don't work without wrestling shoes and that double legs are way superior in MMA. I always thought that was a strange take and the last few years (really since Khabib) have proven how awesome single legs are. IMO most versatile and efficient takedown.
