Hi Melanie, thanks so much for this video, Zoe is such a darling. When you did the 16mm reverse on her head and cheeks, does that take the length shorter? I’m unsure how to know when to go with or against the coat when setting length on the head. ❤

Thank you 💗 yes, clipping in reverse with any blade or snap on attachment comb will cut the hair shorter. If I am clipping with an attachment comb and I feel I need a shorter length, I will clip in reverse on that particular part of the body. I then go with the direction of the coat growth to blend the shorter hair with the longer hair. I hope this helps💗

Hi Chloe,👋 oh yes I sure did, and still sometimes do. 😄my best tips for new groomers is to groom the dogs with kindness and compassion and get your foundation skills right. Bathing & drying correctly and study the history of the breed you want to learn, study their form and function. 💓🐩
