It’s a trade off - he has legs in this video but if you look closely, all the dudes in the thumbnail are missing fingers 😧

Making me sob quietly at my desk job. Going through one of the worst times in my life and started getting an anxiety attack. Remembered watching this video before the bad times started, and I feel so much pressure being released. Maybe not everything should be shared, but I consider your second channel as a good void to shout into. Thank you for guiding me Shaq

As a longtime fan who, like many, mostly watch Internet Shaquielle for entertainment/educational value, I cannot describe how much value I have gotten out of this second channel. I came to you for funny takes I resonate with about cast-iron skillets, meal prep, and pre-made oatmeal, but Extranet Shaquielle is making me stay and consider meditation, journaling, and a general sense of mindfulness. Topics that I've always passively respected from a distance (as they occupy corners of the internet I don't often find myself in), but your Shaquille coat of paint has made me stop and see the value that they have for someone like me. I can't thank you enough for this. Even though we make videos on completely different topics, you are my biggest inspiration on this platform, and a reminder on why I love KZbin so much in the first place. Thank you.

Wow holy crap. This actually worked for me. A lot of the time I get so lost in meditation to the point I get frustrated. You are right about the podcasts in showers, its like passive brain engagement. I adore good podcasts but I should give my brain time to rest and focus. I've literally never been able to meditate because I start to over think about what focusing on your breathing even means. Wow dude. Kinda shocked that it worked like that. I feel so rested but also focused.

I have seen very little of Shaq's second channel content. I very much appreciate how genuine he always seems.

Utterly needed this. Having such a tough time recently and this video brought me back to center. I've often times found meditation to be kind of bland and boring, getting distracted and thinking about how I could use my time differently... this video has completely changed my idea of what meditation can be, especially knowing the positive effects it had. Will be watching this again tomorrow morning. Thank you thank you thank you. This goes to show you're one of the best creators out there man, no matter what video of yours I choose to watch, I'll always get something positive out of it. Keep up the incredible work.

I don't know why this video popped out on my fp 1 year after its release. I clicked accidentaly, then realized it's from my favourite extras channel and thought ı was gonna listen to some rant about podcasts or something. Didn't realize I was going to take a step in meditation, which I wouldn't have done it intentionally anytime soon, even though I deeply know that I need it desperately. To my surprise, I was able to soldier through the entire video. My only hope is to make it a habit which I am famously bad at. Either way, thank you Shaq for at least making me experiencing this. Not a single other internet personalty would've convinced me to stay, not that they would even try to. You are a gentle and thoughtful soul.

I’d like a Shaq story time that meanders. No chimes. Also no to showers. Shower epiphanies are where my best ideas have ever come from. Also, I’m at the onset of dementia so showering is always a team sport. A meandering story let’s me focus on the voice/tone without needing to pay attention to following a throughline. Thanks 🙏🏼

Thanks, I needed the reminder. You drove home the point on "focusing on your breath fully" for me, somehow I don't feel I fully understood what that meant before today.

I haven't finished the full video, so I'm sorry if this is already answered, but when you say, "Focus completely on your breathing," does that mean to only focus on the physical sensations of breathing without any accompanying mental words, or am I also allowed to redirect my endless internal monologue to ranting about my current breathing instead of any other topic? The latter is easy for just one minute, but I have a hard time completely turning off the brain words.

I've been meditating inconsistently for s while now. I've always struggled with not judging myself harshly. At the beginningi would always be very toxic to myself saying things like "ugh why can't you just meditate you piece of shit, stop thinking about things. That negativity while not completely gone has become much less with my meditation
