The only I’ll let you know that acceptable is if we’re deciding between two days, and we’re trying to hammer out details. (For example: I’ll let you know if I can do Monday or Tuesday). If it’s a I’ll let you know, with no date given, I walk away without responding

I don't think there is anything wrong with doing this, but the ball begins here in her court: her last words were "I'll let you know." Wouldn't a truly confident man simply say "okay, let me know" and then get on with his life?
