Anointing your home is going room to room and speaking the shield of God over your home. I normally say "my home, my family and my property is cleaning I wash it with the blood of Jesus. Nothing not of Jesus is allowed here. I rebuke and cast out any evil here. In Jesus might name amen." I just repeat that over and over. I would suggest finding a church and taking yourself, get baptized, gain a good relationship with the elders in the church. Always remember nothing evil can touch you with God. Never show evil fear instead start rebuking it in Jesus's name.

We dropped xmas 17 yrs ago, after I had decorated the entire house, and the most beautiful tree I had ever done, turned off all the lights, then turned on the tree ( as I do every yr) so that I can stand in amazement and awe ( as I did)...but that time wasn't the same. Everybody knows that Hazbin Hotel isn't disguised as innocent. Before each episode, it gives a disclaimer about the show to let the audience know that it's a show meant for adults. Not only that, but the entire premise of the show is about the princess of Hell trying to rehabilitate sinners so that they might get a second chance to be redeemed and go to heaven. At no point is Satan or Hell glorified in the show. Most of the main cast is rightfully miserable and yearning for a better outlook on life.

I just don't agree that any Harry Potter movie, which is fake, causes anyone to believe in witchcraft or even have the inclination to practice it. And if that is the case, that would be an extreme minority, and would like to look at any supportive evidence. And horror movies, the same, most people don't get into anything other than a good scare, but again, I'd like to see evidence to support if they do. I don't believe being desenitized is a cause for occult correlation. If one get desentizied, they usually just can handle it better as opposed to assuming they get interested in dark magic. I'm no completely disagreeing, as if any of this stuff does cause one to do evil or anything unhealthy, then of course, they should get help. But this is by far the minority, and we could say it's at that point most likely not an evil thing but rather a very human psychological thing that is personal about them that's occuring. You're using perspective, which everyone is entitled to have. We can agree to disagree, but lets keep the conversation open to explore more possible truth.

Zachary, I remember Della Reese on Chico and the Man--way back in the '70s when I was a kid. The star Freddie Prinze committed suicide at the height of his budding fame. Hollywood is just a garbage can filled with problematic people. Actors as a rule are desperate to escape themselves into a role. I used to struggle too with actors playing parts contrary to beloved roles, like Henry "The Fonz" Winkler playing wimps. @@adamskirc I think we use discernment. Halloween is straight celebrating darkness . I understand Christmas was created by the Catholic Church to bring in the pagans. However it celebrates the birth of our Lord and Savior. Now it’s not His real birthday , and we celebrate Him everyday. It’s also not in the Bible. But Paul says not to worry too much about celebrating feasts. In Col 2:16-17 he said “Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. (17) These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ” I love the lights. They make me feel better in the cold dreary winter. Jesus is our light. I observe Hanukkah, and Passover as well. I don’t worship the tree, or the menorah, or any inanimate object. In 1 corinthians 10:31 it says “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” And in proverbs 3:6 it says “ In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths”. So my point is yes the secular version of Christmas is pagan ( Santa/satan), but we are not held to the law anymore because Jesus fulfilled the law. We worship Jesus and nothing else… So do EVERYTHING to the Glory of God!
