This song is HYPNOTIC! I LOVE a song with chord changes that make you feel high when you're not (ex. "Clocks" by Coldplay). I am a singer/songwriter and make a meager living at it but I know a hit when I hear one! This should've been a massive hit, one of the best songs I've heard in years! The music business today is SO formulaic and contrived to make a fast buck. As a result truly great music is shoved to the backburner and it's a damn shame! Kacey you are a fantastic singer and songwriter(not to mention beautiful, if I may say). I adore you :)

@@Mx.Pickle Yeah I have to Agree with your comment about folk music personally I've come to the conclusion that the best music of all is "folk" music and all music that has any part of it- "folk-ness" meaning music of the people- music of the soul... Will stay with us forever.

Hello all.......if you love folk, check out "Been Smoking Too Long" by Nick Drake. It was recorded really quickly one day just to get it down and the kinks were to be worked out later. He died very young and before this song could be loved like it needed to be, so the sound quality is not great. But still a soul stirrer.
