Aaron. I found your videos earlier this week. These are the types of things I believe in, spiritually. I just wasn't practicing or had a full awakened conscious yet. I was holding on and trying to control the outcome with my woman. So much neediness when she was trying to pull away I had her on a pedestal and couldn't let go of control. I was creating so much resistance. Isaw your vid and woke up. I let go and detached from outcome. Literally the next day she is trying to come back and attracted to me. Thank you!

Protect your energy bro, remember the guy you paid to do that job? And didn’t finish/taking too long to finish (if I remember correctly) he basically tried you, bro. Either he was a racist (against whites) or an a-hole. either way he didn’t respect you, that there, if you don’t see respect after showing respect, automatically assume you’re going to bump heads. Do what you gotta do, you need to show your backbone Mr. Doughty. They’ll try to cause some traction, gotta let them know you are about that action, or avoid them at all costs. Or else. Some people just want to watch the world burn, zigzag away from them.

After many awakenings Ive come to realized I am talented, handsome, and lucky, and my life changed forever. I am a receiver of my own karma, and I put myself first because I am worth it.

Some years ago, I was in the hospital for a hemorrhage in my brain, I luckily survived without permanent damage but there was a secondary issue and the doctors told me that if it doesn't improve by a specific date I would need to get surgery again. I was freaking out and trying to force myself to get better and it would only worsen. One day, I decided that I can't fight it anymore and that I would accept whatever outcome would come and let go of worrying. The next day or two on the deadline date, suddenly my situation improved so much that I didn't need the surgery and could soon leave the hospital. Letting go was such a game-changer.

Feeling pretty lost lately, and you’ve helped me to realise something I could never understand. How when we’re empathic we’re so concerned about keeping the other person in a good mental state, worrying about why they’re not happy and if it’s you’re fault, because we fear abandonment or we fear that we won’t get our needs met. I had a parent who was very moody and depending on her mood was how I would be treated. My whole life depended on her mood, and now I’ve created a life where my whole life depends on the other person’s mood. Wow. Time for some real healing.
@kristinfranklin59113 жыл бұрын
I was that parent to my daughter. And she and I have a relationship, but she keeps it very superficial and distant. And of course the more she does that, the more I try bcuz I 'need' it to be deeper and need her approval that I was a good mom. Then being needy pushes her further away bcuz she doesn't have to be around my unhealthy codependent behavior anymore. She will avoid me for months. So, forgiving myself for not giving her more stability, or not showing her that it's okay to shine her own light as bright as possible when she was little. I hope she is able to heal from my destructive behaviors while I was raising her. Bcuz I love her with my entire being and only want the very best for her... I am so very proud of her and what she has accomplished and how she is so loving to others and the amazing woman she has become.. I hope one day she and I can have a deeper relationship like I have with my own mom. bcuz my daughter truly is the most important thing/person to me. She is sooo amazing! and beautiful - but she is afraid to shine her own light. She is so inspiring to me - even without shining her light - bcuz I see her determination and accomplishments and I have seen the light she is afraid to shine. I want to go back in time and tell that little girl: You are worthy and you ARE enough! You are beautiful and you have the potential to be whatever you want to be.. Dream big and Go be YOU!

No, that's counterintuitive to actually recovering. the commenter may have presented themselves as one but that is not who they are. You are not an illness/mental condition etc, you are just experiencing it! I do agree with the term "empath" isnt' really meaningful. People need to stop identifying as their issues or accepting labels from others, then half the work is done.

I don’t believe in the concept of “empath”. To me, that’s not a particular identity. It’s the absence of “other” (unhealthy psychological disposition). Such as extreme narcissism, Etc. As a consequence, one is empathetic, caring, considerate, genuinely interested, a good listener and other similar qualities. Has the ability to be objective and recognize that everyone’s worldview is unique.

As an empath, it was difficult for me to put myself first than others. Growing up with a dysfunctional and emotionally unavailable and invalidating parents (until now), all my life I felt like I am not being accepted, not lovable, not worthy and not good enough. I am 37 now, and I just started to realize all of those beliefs and slowly untying them from my being - one step at a time.

Very true. Took me a long time to understand that. All the backstabbing, cheating, fakeness, etc. done by others is in no way a definition of who I am. Why? Cause it's not my shit, it's there's. Wish them well in the future for their sake, forgive and let go.

I'm an empath. The Abandonment part hit me hard because that exactly is how my life is. Until it hit me sooo hard that it drove me crazy because I feel I have the responsibility for everyone especially the one I loved that just left me out of everything I have done being responsible enough but still everyone I cared about just put me aside for their own happiness. It sucked then this video brought sooo much sense to me. This has changed my perspective on how I should approach my daily life from now on.

I have been there myself in the past my friend and I understand the darkness can consume you. I am in breakup right now and how I deal with them has changed massively. I think about it this way. I do love her and I do care about her but I want the best for her and if that’s not me then I’m ok with that I understand I am not perfect and have things to work on. I use this time to focus on myself and my shortfallings to make myself better for the next person that comes along. All hardships in life are an opportunity for growth, we just need to notice that they are an opportunity and cease it. Take time to focus on yourself and I promise you that not only will you feel better but you will either reattract that person or someone even better.

I didn’t realize how emotional this would make me. Thank you for sharing your experience. I experienced childhood trauma and I am very empathic. My mother was very emotionally unstable and I always felt that I had to hide my emotions for her, and always put on a happy act for her. I continued this throughout my life. I also tend to put myself last in order to care for everyone around me. I became very anxious and started to have panic attacks on a daily basis. I am attracted to broken people especially men and I am currently talking to someone that I really want to fix. He is emotionally unstable and depressed. I want so badly to help him, but I’m realizing now that I am hurting myself on the process. I feel obsessed with trying to make him happy. Everyday is a struggle but I am coming to terms with myself in letting go and being more aware of these patterns. Anyone who is going through this, you are not alone. That's actually codependency not being an empath. Many empaths are codependent not all codependents are empaths. What he's describing is not symptoms of being an empath, it's codependency. Not being able to say no is people pleasing and a manifestation of codependency not empathy. You can be an empath and have healthy boundaries. Codependents don't have healthy boundaries.

I can relate to your Mom - I lost my mother at 15, and my father at 19. Losing them left me scarred for several years. To top it off, my father got a girlfriend when I was 16, and she hated me. I was always made to clean the entire house for her, polish the fancy furniture she brought into the house, and she actually turned my father against me and my brothers for months. (He actually apologized for this a couple of years later, when he saw what he had done. He had just been super vulnerable). This was 1 month after we had lost our Mom. It took an incredible amount of work to get over all that, after I nearly drank myself to death. So a lot of what you have to say resonates with me personally - and the positive stuff is incredible!! It took me years to absorb the positive affirmations I had learned, but that's just it - I had to keep at it. I had - and still have - to do the work. @mforst52393 жыл бұрын
I'm definitely an empath! I used to always put everyone else before me, I neglected myself for so many years and would justify their actions when they would hurt or let me down...until I finally woke up several years ago and started taking back my power and realizing they were all stealing my energy. I let go of the need to put other people before myself and put some hard-core boundaries in place. I will not allow my family to use/abuse me anymore. I have grown leaps and bounds since doing this, I finally started living my life for myself and the way I want to live. That is NOT selfish, it is necessary to heal yourself. If everyone would realize their own toxicity and deal with their demons, the world would start to be a better place. Everyone suppresses all the bad shit from their childhood or whatever instead of dealing with it which creates these horrible demons within themselves (subconsciously) and these bad traits come out and attack those who have the light within themselves. You will get attacked by those who resist this process! Don't worry about them, stay the course, heal yourself and hopefully it will have a ripple effect over time and others will see the positive change in you and will hopefully follow suit. We all need healing, we are not born "bad" or something wrong with us, we have become a product of our environment which is definitely broken. It's time to break the familial curses and heal ourselves!! It is not an easy path, but well worth it, you will be more free than ever before! Kick out those who are clearly not for you and who take advantage of you or don't treat you the way you deserve to be treated! You are worthy!! This is your life! Take back your power, adopt a no harm to yourself or others, live in harmony with the laws of the universe and you will be blessed, it will change your life!! Much love to all of you who are taking back their life and courageously walking this journey!!!❤
