today we explore an abandoned house left frozen in time for decades when a man's wife sadly passed away and he turned there home in to a shrine for her for over 30 years
the abandoned house is still completely full of there possessions with everything left inside and even the power still working.
so many antiques and artifacta remain from world war two in the home where the husband Edward served.
when his wife passed away he never moved on and kept the house exactly how it was before she died. such an amazing explore and insight to the families former lives

If you think about it, if they had say just one or two children they would now be in their 70's and many people of that age are sick and unable to get around easily, if they are alive even. Emptying a house of its belongings would, therefore, be costly to pay someone else and so on. You could see how this could happen. Makes me worry about my home !!

Absolutely. Unusual for that generation for the man to survive his wife for so long. But my grandfather did. A footnote to history...there were a lot of reserved occupations during the war. Farming was one of them. This man could well have served in the military but farming was considered just as important. Peace 🕊️

If he was a farmer during the war he would not have been called up. There was certain occupations that were classed as essential. My grandfather didn’t get called up because of his occupation. People of that era kept everything. My parents were the same . When I cleared their house out I had so much stuff to go through it was overwhelming. Great explore guys

hi adam, i have to apologise, i try really hard to get home from chemo to see you live, but i never make it. this is such a lovely cottage and it hasn't been trashed. i love how respectful you and matt are in these places. btw the machine you thought was a washing machine was a spin dryer, my mum had one for years. a chesterfield is a type of sofa. you are without a doubt the very best urban explorer out there.

Hi, Adam. What a beautiful house. The story of the couple reminded me of my grandparents. My grandfather went to war and came back started his family and lived on the farm until he passed away. And my uncle still lives in the house in the summer, because winter it's too cold. Thank you for the amazing explore. My best friend died almost 3 years ago and her husband has not removed any of her things. I don't think he ever will. He even has her ashes in the living room. It is hard for me to go and see it all but each to their own. Thank you, Adam, always love to see you and Mat exploring together.

Its not a tumble dryer, its a spin dryer, ie put wet washing in it and it will spin the water out ready for drying, love your videos

Hey Adam, it’s pouring Rain here in New York, AGAIN! 😡 What goes on for Sunday mornings here in NY for me? I go back over your videos that I’ve already seen just to see what I’ve missed and there is ALWAYS something I’ve missed. I enjoy hearing a comment you made of the one item you touch or hold up in your hand that for some reason I missed first time around. I honestly love seeing the portraits or other pics of the family members or friends of the family. It’s their history and you are OUR link to that families story. I follow you, (Subscribed) Dale and Matthew’s channels all of you for the same reasons mentioned. No one else does their explore or adventure like you guys do with the forethought, care, compassion and yes even afterthought as you three Urban Explorers do. By forethought I mean you talk as you go about what it is your plan to explore as you’re starting even if it suddenly changes? WE are included in the process with just a side note maybe like “well guys the floors a bit sketchy so we’ll try to get back on the other side.” And what I mean about Afterthought is if something you moved or touched is slightly amiss? You say “Don’t worry guys that will be put back in place or closed before we leave here.” My best advice is to always stay humble as you are and respectful and so caring because these were someone’s homes and belongings…doesn’t matter if they’re of the Spirit world or still in a care home, all this was someone else’s and we’re just visitors. Your kindness will always serve you well, don’t ever change! Your personality and humor can relax the tense or scary moments. I have lived all of my 56 years in Canada, and the stuff in the homes you investigate, I know just what they are. It is weird to think of the items as old. Except the homes from the 1800's

Lovely farmhouse cottage with the low ceilings & wooden beams. I cant believe it is not more decayed considering the length of time it has been abandoned..& even the electric is still on! Some items & surfaces weren't even covered in that much dust! My mum has a mirror just like the one you showed with the ingraved ships on & a large sea shell that was her mums/my nan. With so much to look at, loved your attention to detail in this explore Adam. Nice to see Matt with you too. 😉👍🏻.

oh how I love this Sunday night 'zone'...it truly is a place to unwind Adam and you are a natural at this. I loved this one, having grown up on farms, some of these items are very reminiscent of my childhood. I just feel like saying to everyone, cherish your life, every second of it because this is where your memories end up, hopefully there will be someone left when you depart who will have the goodness of soul to tidy up, organise photo's into albums, do all the things they can to honour your lifetime of hard work, love and heartache.
