My mom had no idea they were back ( not hooked into the music scene anymore. at 77) I played both songs in the car. Omg she was chair dancing!!! It made her freaking day!! The nostalgia wraps you like a warm blanket. Opening your mind to memories of good times, laughter, smiles, dancing drinks in hand. Of course, they haven't reunited to perform together, but reunited to record a new album and to make this Abba-tar show which is going to tour around the globe. P.S. Today, not only am I in tears of joy, but I'm overwhelmed for them. 40 years ago ABBA decided they had enough and exited the stage on a high note. Through all these years, we, ABBA fans, hounded them to come back. We knew all along what they questioned in themselves - that they never lost their magic. They finally listened, and this is proof. I do hope this earns ABBA platinum. They so deserve it. Thanks, Paul for this reaction. I subscribed to your channel for Gabriel Henrique. The guys were presented with an idea to have a tour using holograms. It appealed to them, so they decided to go ahead with the project, using digital reproductions of themselves from their younger days and decided also to write two new songs for the digital avatars to sing. They presented the idea to the girls, and everyone decided it was a go. The avatar show will be premiere in London in a year or so. The news dropped as a worldwide announcement Sept. 2 on KZbin. The two songs were premiered, along with some behind the scenes footage of them working on the avatar routines, and recording the two new songs. It was also announced there would be a new album consisting of 10 new songs. The last part of this video is the avatars, not them in real life. While recording the two new songs, they liked the feeling of working together again in the studio and decided to do a whole new album, which will drop in November. The avatar show is next year, May 2022, after the performance hall is built.

Why did they decide to come back? Maybe because they recalibrated. Healed. And found inspiration to write and sing music together again. Does it matter why they came back? Other than this world having more of their music in these dark and insidious times to heal our wounded souls. As for you, 'I love abba, but it's not as if I'm a huge fan'...... I guarantee you weren't even born when they were at the peak of their success. But this song sums them up. This band is a once in a life time experience. They are geniuses walking this earth. A ying and yang to each other. And us. The world is blessed. We are truly blessed to have this music now. At a point where the world needs hope!

Following ABBA’s announcement of new music and a virtual concert that will take place in May next year, the band are also giving fans more details about how their virtual alter-egos have been created. The ‘ABBAtars’ have been created by more than 100 digital artists and technicians from Industrial Light & Magic (ILM). The band were filmed using motion capture as they performed a 22 song set over the course of five weeks. The team at ILM then “de-aged” Benny, Björn, Agnetha and Anni-Frid, taking them back to 1979. “They got on a stage in front of 160 cameras and almost as many genius [digital] artists, and performed every song in this show to perfection, capturing every mannerism, every emotion, the soul of their beings - so that becomes the great magic of this endeavour. It is not four people pretending to be ABBA: It is actually them,” explained producer Ludvig Andersson. Four of ILM’s five global studios are working on the project, revealed Ben Morris, ILM’s creative director. “The team size is certainly somewhere between 500 and a thousand artists working on the project around the world,” he added.

A few days later and still no Swedish media official outlet has even mentioned it, no interviews and ABBA is a 100% fine by that, actually prefers it that way👌😃 Remember, they live very private lives, always did, it's the Swedish way for everyone, including our Royal family which goes way back🇸🇪 They were not together for FORTY YEARS!😃 Agneta is 71, Annifrid and Björn 75 and Benny 76 years of age and deliver like champions which proves age is nothing but a number❤ ABBA is building their own arena in London for their new format of shows, will premiere in May 2022, all the information is in the release broadcast to be found on ABBA Official KZbin channel✌ ABBA actually did the first music video ever and it was for a very practical reason back in 1975. One year after winning Eurovision they got their international breakthrough and it was Australia who gave it to them. Problem was, demand exploded and there was no way they could respond in person all over the globe so their very clever manager Stikkan Anderson came up with them music videos to keep the momentum going worldwide and it worked😉

They came back to remind us how music should be done. No auto tune, no naked dancers to cover up that they can't sing. How to write a song, do singers even know how to do that or play an instrument? The guys have never stopped working. They did the Broadway and movie hit momma Mia and chess. It took a lot of sweet talking to get the girls to come on board.

They threatened with "a couple of new songs" for 3 years. And they kept delaying the launch. The lateness is also linked to the project of their mocap ABBAtars concert.

Yes, they look so young still - right ? this is due to holographic technology with which the band is experimenting. you will find some videos on this aspect.

No it doesnt break any new ground! Wasnt suppose to. You either like the sound of the band or you dont. I personally was blown away by how wonderful the musical arrangements were on many of the songs and how wonderful a couple of 70 plus year old women can still sound together.

music, singing and all the details of the performance are they themselves, recording 22 songs (90 minutes) over 5 weeks with 160 cameras. computers "only" add clothing and some 40 year younger skin before sending the abbatars on tour next year.
