One thing about this case that concerns me. The fact that the initial report documented,”A large amount of cash was seized”. Had that not been in the report, what would have been done when the woman came to retrieve her property? Would it have been investigated, or would it have been just, “oh well.” One would think that if they were inventorying evidence, they would have recorded it on BWC. They each claim to have counted it, so who had it last? In my opinion, it’s the two who were putting forth the most effort to get the money back. The other poor slob just made the mistake of not reporting, and being conditioned to being a blue liner. But the dude who breaks out $500, he’s guilty as sin.

You're not supposed to see "this kind of openness." Publicly revealing facts of a case before jury selection is called jury tampering and is a crime against the People. This sheriff does this habitually to ensure his desired outcomes. He is paid to do his duty, not to have an opinion and desired outcomes. This theater is to give the appearance that he is tough on crime, and to ensure his reelection. He's a songbird. If his cases are as solid as he presents them to the press they would speak for themselves at trial. He has no trust for the People he serves to reach the right conclusions, or may not want them to reach the right conclusion. Everything he has said here, if true, can be reported after the trial. There is no need for this. The only statement that the sheriff is obligated to make to the press (aka We the People) is "Three of my deputies have been arrested for suspicion of evidence tampering. They have been incarcerated and an investigation is ongoing."

It happens more than you would think. In most departments, inner-department complaints far outweigh complaints from the public. In a country of 330 million and who knows how many police and sheriff’s departments, we will never reach zero corruption or zero incompetence but we can continue to make progress. So before we let activists and politicians set the narrative and decide the policies, we should recognize how much accountability the police do have and how holding them to impossible standards and demonizing is only going to help get rid of all the honest, honorable officers we do have. No one in their right mind would go into policing nowadays, and people who live in low income, high crime neighborhoods who rely on police the most will be hurt the most from the toxic rhetoric and activism. All of the people calling for “defunding the police” are privileged enough not to have to rely on proactive policing in their neighborhoods to keep them safe.

I don’t like and don't trust ANY cops - except for Sheriff Grady Judd. He's the ONLY cop/sheriff I would invite to dinner at my home, and I would feel honored to have him as a guest in my home. We need a Sheriff Judd in every Sheriff's position and every Chief of Police position across the US. I hate cops, but I would be grateful and honored to have Grady as a friend. It’s a shame that it's impossible for one man to restore my faith in the corrupt cops I encounter (like the 3 arrested).

@Davis Willow I get what you're saying, and you may be right, but I think it would take more information to determine the motivation there. I was wondering during the interview why his photo was in the center. It's possible that they ordered them by suspected culpability. I thought "What if they had put his photo first, or last? What would be the criticism then? First=worst? Last=lesser status?" As far as zoomed in, maybe? Or maybe they're all the same ratio and he's just slightly larger than the other two. It's certainly subtle, if there was any manipulation there. My mind never saw him as the most guilty, especially since the sheriff kept tapping his hand on the first photo and reiterating his guilt over the other two. I certainly think you bring up a good point though, that what we see in the media is very often trying to subtly manipulate how we perceive information.

The biggest crime they can be proven of is trying to cover it up. It’s gonna go to court with police Union lawyers it’s gunna be a he said she said type deal and there not gunna have enough evidence to get anyone. Just wasting the courts time. Sadly, training isn't the issue. You can't easily train adults to be honest. That starts as a child, and is taught as they grow. If people never learn consequences, then they will end up corrupted and filthy like these criminal scum. I see it all the time in this day and age where parents either are afraid to punish their children or they just ignore them as they are biting, kicking, throwing things, and screaming in the supermarket. You have seen those brats, right? If you do, tell their parents to discipline their children if they value their lives, because these kids will grow up to be useless criminals who have no moral guidance.

Hardly, look at this from a 10 mile point of view. Police officers find an obvious drug dealer. Justice system fails and the felony offense from the drug dealer is dropped to a misdemeanor, which is wrong. One of the police officers took the drug money for himself, and his buddies pleaded the fifth because of loyalty. Sheriff now releases the obvious drug dealer without charges, and gives the drug dealer their illegal drug money back. If only that sheriff were as hard on drug dealers that actually harm the community as he is on officers that aren't a threat to public safety. Think about that.
@dougsmith10053 жыл бұрын
@@BoopSnoot You do understand that in your timeline the officer who took the $ caused the case to be dropped and the $ returned right? So it would be the officers fault that this person isn't charged right? This also affects every case that these 3 officers have worked recently. 100's if not 1000's of cases will be affected by the thievery, deceit and ineptitude of these cops. What would you expect, 1 week suspension with pay? a promotion? I won't even get into the hypocrisy of a felony drug case for an organic plant that is legal in 1/2 the US. One that presidents have admitted smoking. Elon Musk smoked on a podcast and he is considered to be a genius of sorts. At this point in human history, the only people that can still believe weed is the devil drug is sheeple that have been unfortunately raised in religious homes and brainwashed into some crazy crazy ideas. Or maybe 60+ and raised during the propaganda era of things like the "Reefer Madness" movie that has aged so well ;)

I agree with the top part. However I believe someone is always watching even when it may seem nobody is watching. Your better and worse self is watching. What is fed most grows stronger. As far as the thank you sheriff part goes I'll try not to disagree to much. Cause he does seem to do his part. I just can't stand it when he twist facts of a few bad apples as examples into his sham war on drugs campaign like he does. That in itself should be criminal and should be held accountable and put behind bars. Just like the system profits from people's "health conditions" such as addiction instead of being decent folks and help get back on track to lead a more healthier and positive life style. Do you know how many people have life sentences for something that can't hurt anyone without am action of a human behind it? Such as drugs and guns? Yet the real problems like pedophilia are out harming children everyday. That get a small portion of the time. I know I have 3 years clean from heroin. I also been to prison along with the offenders/predators that caused my pain to want to try managing with drugs in the first place. Not saying that I was an angel but I surely wasn't out to harm others. That's what prison is for, for the ones out preying on others. Not the ones who may have got caught up in traps or addictions. And again is my only beef with this sheriff. He is either highly ignorant which is no excuse for his position or lies and twist the the truth of drugs. Drugs do not make people bad. People make people bad. Guns don't kill people. It takes an action of a human to make a gun kill someone. Drugs don't kill. It takes an action of a human to over ingest drugs to kill. I'll end with this. Everyone should know the real reason the whole war on drugs was created. Its far more sinister than what they want you to believe. It wasn't about the drugs. Drugs have been around for thousands of years and will always be around . Good source of revenue to an empire is what it became but if you research you will find it had more to do with racism at first. Please do your own research and find the truth out for yourself. Don't just now down to a system that is raping our liberties away seemingly by the day. If it's not already too late it surely will be when we are nothing but their robots. Make a stand for what is right! And dig your feet into the ground to oppose that which is trying to oppress us all..
