Yes, in her case. But many people become mean or even meaner than their past aggressors in a chain of violence... Thankfully she is cured and feels the obligation to help others instead of a revenge approach against innocent people. Unfortunately I have been close to revenge oriented people that were traumatized in their childhood

Reading her book right now...I see so much of myself in her. Absentee parents force you to grow up & be your own parent. Still you look for love in all the wrong people. And you're let down every time, because I've come to realise that the emptiness left by parents is a void that will never be filled. By anyone. As she says you have to forgive and move forward.

he's perfect for interviewing her for this. The face she made when he said boundaries is so good. Have an interviewer as good and kind and sensitive and respectful as him, on a subject like this, oh what a great thing to see.

Agree with all said here. Just want to add that at first Minka looked quite guarded (and who wouldn't given the topic?), but with each thoughtful question from the interviewer one could see her relaxing into the conversation. Was a pleasure to witness.

I like her but now this is a thing . Rich people are not the salt of the earth because they are well resourced in tools to overcome trauma . We all have trauma But rever to the the unpolished , human and those who can’t afford these l” life coaches “ abc therapy and are dwelling in hell still . Those are the ones that need our praise love and admiration too. These people should help others to have the same care but instead they go around talking about themselves . It’s a trend in Hollywood now

The problem is pictures/videos don’t lie. You can’t blame “tabloids” for being promiscuous and jumping from one famous man to the next, leaving their apartments in the morning, making out in public, moving on to the next guy within a week, etc. She’s still doing it. No shame to women who do this but own it. That behavior probably needs to be unpacked if she’s writing a book proporting to be “looking inward.”
