This is a very challenging advanced ab routine! I was burning by the 2nd exercise but I’ll either have to take rests between exercises or remove the ankle weights for the beginning portion until I am strong enough to complete this in its entirety. Thank you for this amazing workout!

This was such a challenging workout! Halfway through I had to lose the ankle weights and just to the harder variation. Holy ab burn!! 🔥🔥 Wow! I had to drop the weights for the last part of the first segment! Then I put them back on but had to stop quite a bit! 😳 That was brutal! My hubby did it along with me and he was proud he finished a ‘crazy Linda workout’! 😂 PS not sure where this one was hiding!! Lol! ❤️ I will be coming back to this one!

Wow, its been a while, I forgot how challenging this one is! Had to drop the ankle weights after only 8 minutes and still struggled through it. A good one to go back to when I'm feeling cocky about my core strength. 😉🤣

The first half of this workout is the toughest I have ever done. I always have to take a few little breaks during one exercise. The second part is not a joke but it's more doable then the first part. I have done it several times so far and it seems to be slightly easier then it was for the first time but still it is very difficult.

Wow that was awesome and tough! My legs are beyond sore so it probably wasn't wise to attempt this today haha. You came up with some really, really great combinations! I loved the one where you had one leg straight the entire time and the other came towards your hip and straight out. I also loved/hated those same side bicycles where you touched your knee with your elbow followed by touching your hand to your foot. That was intense! I liked the oblique crunches too with the added inner thigh work. This series is awesome!! We have done soo much loop work (which I adore), but I really like the range of motion with the weights. You can really feel how the muscles work differently using the different equipment. Thank you sooo much!! : ) Have a wonderful Friday!

Yes, that's what I am finding about the ankle weights too, the range of motion is awesome. I feel sore in a different way than with the loop! I will have to do a loop and ankle weights one soon!! 😊

I really want to do this awesome workout today but... I'm not feeling that well. I was vaccinated against yellow fever (last friday) ☹ 💉 and, perhaps, the muscular pain I feel throughout the body and the light fever are related to it? Let's hope tomorrow I'm better!

I have heard that the vaccine can make you feel a bit feverish and unwell, but it is only supposed to last 24-48 hours. Hope you feel better soon! 😊

Thanks, Linda. I took a fantastic pill called "trioval" (a sort of strong paracetamol) and I'm feeling much better. Maybe it was a simple cold, I dunno. I just wanna get better so I can do this fabulous workout.

I actually have heaps of shorter workouts. I have a series called the 5 best exercises series where the longest workout is 13 mins and my fit in 5 mat series is also around the 15 minute mark. Hope you enjoy this workout 😊

Linda I love your workout videos but I found this one to be much more a leg rather than abs workout. Am I doing anything wrong?

Hi, you will always feel these sorts of exercises on your hip flexors and upper thighs, but once those parts get stronger you will also definitely feel it on your abs. The side lying work does engage the outer thighs and inner thighs so it is normal to feel some legs. Because you are crunching your upper body and lower body together you will feel it in both your abs and a bit in your lower body. So, no, you are not doing anything wrong! If you want a pure core workout I have lots of those too in my free abs core playlist 😊

Maybe you can use a resistance loop or even hold a weight on your thigh for some of the exercises instead? You can also try putting the weights further up your calf or if they fit even above your knee 😊
