Whew! That was among the toughest of your workouts yet. I really whiffed at the 15:00 mark, and then throughout the rest of the workout. I can't believe you did all that with heavy weights (I quickly dropped to a lighter set). You are amazing!

ha ha! Yes, this one was tough. I kinda regretted the heavy weights, but had to keep going since it was my workout - lol! 😀

I sweat my face off on this workout but I enjoy it very much. I have done most of the exercises with my 5 kg medicine ball and I like to do exercises with my medicine ball because is very playful and effective but I don't find many workouts with medicine ball, maybe a suggestion for a workout series? 👍😉🐰😎

it's amazing how fast paced, high repetition sculpting exercises can still make you sweat! You can definitely use your medicine ball whenever I use a single weight in a workout. I don't actually use medicine balls myself and don't own one. I try to use equipment that the majority of people have. You might be able to use your ball for some of my kettlebell workouts?

@@barlatesbodyblitz Thank you for the nice reply! I will look for your kettlebell workouts. I am sure I am going to enjoy them, I found some of your workouts with sliders I have sliders too. You have so many workouts what is great to add diversity! Maybe you should try ones a med ball it's very fun and I think it fits your type of exercises too, for balance and strength and it adds more freedom of movement than a kettlebell. Have fun!😉👍

Such a nice surprise- I was not expecting a new workout!! This was awesome! I really liked how there was a lot of shoulder work too. You actually make core work fun and challenging. Any other ones are boring and not hard enough. I paired it with your newer cardio sculpt with loops and lounge room inner and outer thigh (doubled the black loops and use 2 lb ankle weights- um ouch lol). Thanks so much!!

I actually do a lot of weighted core in my personal workouts. I also elevate a lot of my core workouts to make them tougher. I might film an elevated core one soon 😀

Yes, don't overdo it. You need to ease back into it otherwise it might take longer to recover fully. 😄

Hi Linda, this workout reminds me of Zuzka Light's Zcut Power Abs DVD , which I have. That DVD is no longer available! Yours actually looks tougher which is no easy feat. I watched it but did not do it. Lol. I want it! I will definitely buy this one on DVD or DVD-r. Your workouts are one of the best!

This is definitely a tough one especially when you use heavy enough weights. I used 5kg /11lb in each hand and that really got the burn happening! Tried to do this and incorporate it as my abs day - BUT it felt more like leg and upper body work - SO I need to replace it with a more abs only focus. What do you suggest from your play list - thanks.

Hi Linda, I preordered the two DVDs that you recommended (along with a few others of yours readily available), and Amazon says it won't be ready to ship until July 17. Is that correct? If it is I'll keep the order anyway, I just was surprised.

Hi Linda! Can you tell me whether this workout would be suitable for 1st trimester pregnancy? From what I understand, the only extra precaution pregnant women should take during ab work is not lying flat on the back for too long later in the pregnancy, but figured I should ask you first. Thanks!

Hi, If you are still doing other Pilates style abs workouts then this should be fine. You might just not want to add too heavy weights. 😀

Thanks for responding so quickly. Per your recommendation, I did this with just 2 lb weights and still felt like I got an absolute killer workout after combining this with one of your lower body loop workouts! Woohoo, love Barlates!

Yes, it was a tough one. I am glad it was still tough with less weight. I think all the long lever moves really tax your muscles 😀
