I think people saying she can't sing is hilarious because she actually sings markedly BETTER now than she did when she was younger. Part of that's growing into her voice (she started when her vocal cords were still developing, technically) and part of that is clearly getting some training for her technique. She's got a lovely voice and a lot of earned skill behind it. I think there are people out there with more beautiful~ voices or w/e, but that's only one part of what makes her an amazing singer and songwriter? It's also about how you USE your voice, and the songs you're singing, and she uses it well and writes amazing songs to sing.

Yeah, I'm a very new swiftie (Have just got into her after the release of ttpd as I'm primerily a hip-hop and electronic listener but I checked it out, loved it and now am working my way through her catalogue). I always loved that lyric where after 3 months "in the grave" she only felt shame and he "held her lifeless frame". It's such a poetic way of referencing how we all (men and women) feel being sucked back into a dead relationship, in the interest of closure or being fair, but when the person who no longer holds your heart embraces you and you just can't reciprocate. Like you're just stiff, empty, a bag of bones, it doesn't feel the same and you just want them to stop touching you, but she put it so much more nicely than I ever could.

It was written when she was about 21/22 years old, but the 10min version only just recently came out. She was dating Jake Gyllanhal, who was WAY older than her and basically used her and then told her she was too young for him... before going on to continue to date girls as young as she had been ("all your lovers stay my age"). She got really badly treated by a couple men that were older than her back then.

What Taylor's Version means is that it is a re-record of one of her 1st 6 albums. Her old label wouldn't let her buy the the masters so she is recording them again. From the vault means it was a song written at the time the original album dropped (in this case the album Red) but not released at the time. For All Too Well, there was a 5 minute version released on the original with her old label and this is from the vault because it includes 5 extra minutes of lyrics. Hope that helps! #ABtheKreator!! I’m an OG Swifty from when she started until now. Love your reactions so going to hopefully jump the line March 20 because it will be my 50th birthday and the first one without my mother. She passed away unexpectedly due to confusion on medications between two doctors and it caused too much calcium to build up and her parathyroid got out of whack but it was the strain on her heart that did it even though they had flushed her system. You gotta always make sure you doctors know everything you take and what your other doctors tell you. I still got my dad. I know she had jokes ready and now I need something to cheer me up on my b’day. I’m kind of dreading it! She always made every birthday and holiday fun and special no matter how old we got. The only hard part is deciding which one!😂😂 Thanks!!!

If you can't, she said that in some interview she let it slip that the og cut of the song was ten min, but she felt like that was too long for the album because stations don't generally play such long tracks.
