Hola Monica, eres genial. Recién estoy aprendiendo a mapear, no se porque razón cuando hago el mapeado cilíndrico de una parte, se me borra lo que hice antes; por ejemplo cuando hago la cola de dino, se me borra el cuerpo que ya tenía mapeada. Ojalá alguien me ayude. Saludos.

How do i make my xgen hair with scalp follow along with the animation ? ive tried selecting the scalp and then shift select the character and using the 'wrap' deformer, but in doing so i loose the animation on the main character, if that makes sense lol. if i may ask whats the industry standard for doing something like this ?

Have you tried selecting the scalp, and parenting it to the head joint? That's the way the industry does it. I hope that helps!

is UV Mapping part of retopolgy

Retopology is more about 'fixing' your mesh, or reducing the number of polygons. UV Mapping is more about making a 2d representation of a 3d model so that we can texture it. Retopology is modeling and UV mapping is for texturing. I hope that helps!
