Funny enough Jak 1 sold better than Wrath Of Cortex on PS2, so there is at least that :P And nowadays we can have again platformers thanks to the rise of retro style games.

I dont want to sound like a dick or anything but the girls that use to play games all the time back in the older consoles were tomboys. Now the girls that play games these days are a whole mix. Girls in general care too much of graphics without knowing, they rather play gta5 over 4 san andreas, or 3. Keeping in mind that San Andreas, Vice city were undoubtly the best or better than gta 4 and 5 in so many ways by the average male gamer. Another thing that is really basic are cosmetics, if it werent for cosmetics, in-game purchases video games will not sell to females as much also.
