Watched this video many times in the last month since I ordered a 3039r with the deluxe cab and all the hydraulics you have, minus the PBY. Plus I ordered with the front blower, 6’ bush hog, box blade, and landscape rake. A big step up from my little 4110! The best part is, everything is being delivered today!

One thing I did not see, I have a new 3039R 2021, If you live or work on a uneven Land you must add spacers and add width to be safe, The tractor is not stable enough for any uneven land or hill property.

What is the hd tooth bar loader bucket used for
@fromdusktodawn5096 жыл бұрын
Im about to start looking at tractors and I am considering the 3046r and the 4044r. I have a 12 acre farm for agriculture. I plan on growing a variety of crops. Any general recommendations would be of help.

Hey what does the circular stainless steel vent in the hood do?
@larrymartensmartens10442 жыл бұрын
I see you have a selfleveling bucket, how much does that cost? Also be sure to put a flexible spring on the shackle pin under the inside side bucket, vibration will back the pin out.

How do you control your loader if the joystick is controls the 4th and 5th SCBs?
@GoodWorksTractors4 жыл бұрын
You flip the diverter switch back to the off position. You're only using the 4th and 5th for temporary functionality.

Thanks for replying! I’ve been watching your videos all day for the past two days. When I’m older, I plan to buy a small plot of land and play around with some of these tractors and implements!

for private home use on a 30 acre lot, what JD would you recommend for maintaining driveways, paths, mowing and pole digging?
@GoodWorksTractors6 жыл бұрын
I would most likely look at a 3 Series. If you are on a bit more of a budget, then the 3e Series may be right up your alley. However, the 3r Series affords some very nice features, extra capability as well on the loader and 3 point. Either will get the job done and give you some margin on most of your projects as well so you're not pushing your tractor to its limits.

I've got the 3039R with regular suspension seat. I was wondering if you - seeing how you have experience - can tell me if there is enough of a ride difference to justify the cost of an air-ride seat? I've a bad back and tailbone...the regular suspension is okay - but only for awhile.
@GoodWorksTractors6 жыл бұрын
So far, the verdict is still out. My one good test was tilling up 4 gardens and a food plot a week ago. The seat worked well, but I need to find the sweet spot still. I've put 13 hours on it so far and have adjusted a decent amount on a daily basis. However, it makes for easy adjustment by the push of a button. I cannot say it is night and day difference.

Could you in future say that this is a U.S. spec as we are not able to get the goodies that you have. Just tried to purchase an iMatch hitch in the U.K. but not available. I now find a bit late as I have the tractor that there are many attachments not available. We all watch KZbin and expect the same as you show to us.
@GoodWorksTractors6 жыл бұрын
I understand. I don't ever give that much thought, but will try to keep that in mind for future videos. Thanks for watching! I do find it strange that you cannot purchase an iMatch or something similar in the UK.

Looks great. Been looking at the 2038R, and this 3046R.
@GoodWorksTractors6 жыл бұрын
You've narrowed it down to a couple very nice machines. There is definitely a significant cost difference between the two series of tractors. I considered the 2038r as well, but it simply doesn't have enough loader capacity for what I need to do and I would have put it in too many situations that would have pushed it's limitations all around. It's always good to have some margin.

I bought a 2038R last fall, I love it!
@GoodWorksTractors6 жыл бұрын
I've heard a lot of great things about them! What attachments did you get with yours and did you go with that new style of aggressive turf tire being offered now?
@mickey17y6 жыл бұрын
Standard bucket, iMatch, and 60-inch mid mount mower, front-mounted snowblower, ballast box and LED light kit. I already had a box blade, landscape rake and a ratchet rake. I just installed the heavy hitch toothbar and a couple of Ken's hooks last weekend along with a hydraulic top link for the box blade. I've got an RC2060 rotary mower on order and will be getting it next week. I really like the idea of your upgraded brush guard, I'll be looking into that on my next visit to the dealer! When I got the tractor last fall it had the industrial tires, which was all the dealer had at the time. He let me use them for the winter and he replaced them with the new aggressive turfs in the spring. I had the rear tires "loaded" with rim guard. I'm very happy with them.

How did you mount “Ken’s bolt on hooks”? I also have the heavy duty bucket and there is a concern about compressing the double wall construction along the top of the bucket. Did you fabricate some spacers or something?
@GoodWorksTractors6 жыл бұрын
Good question. I was going to install them on my bucket and had this nearly new bucket come in on another tractor with the hooks already installed. So, I just swapped buckets. Not sure how the original owner installed them.

That's a very sweet package. How did you solve the issue of installing the Ken's Bolt On Hooks in the heavy duty (double wall) bucket?
@GoodWorksTractors6 жыл бұрын
Good question. So, I bought a 61" HD bucket and then had an identical bucket come in on a 3039r with only 27 hours on it. I decided to swap them since the "used" one looked brand new anyways. I didn't think it was worth the hassle of removing and reinstalling on an identical bucket. It had the hooks and toothbar already installed. So, I cannot say. I will try to take a good look and find out. I don't plan to put the hooks to heavy use anyways, but they will serve their purpose.

@@GoodWorksTractors so the only issue my dealer is telling me is that with the excavator and the grapple that valve won’t work without modification to the steel lines due to where the kit plumbs into the joystick due to the third function on the grapple so I am kind of at a loss, I don’t have a hydraulic top link but I wanted to get every function I possible could want installed at the dealer before I take it home so later on down the line if I wanted hydro top and tilt I had the capability. The kit is 900 and has the rops mounted joysticks which I would be okay with makes everything mechanical instead of using the diverter and losing hydraulic capability of the loader. Thanks for the reply I appreciate it

That is a good-looking tractor how much for something like that. I've got a small John Deere tractor 740 diesel. Does the 3046 come with a lawn mower deck and are you willing to sell that tractor
@GoodWorksTractors6 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Setup with the options it was around $36,000. A mid mount mower deck is an available option for around $4,000-4,500. I probably won't sell this tractor for a couple years. I just got it a few months ago :)
