You may have the numbers correct but blood pressure is not measured in beats. It is measured in mm/Hg.

Namaste and big thank you for this very clear video. I'm running stroke level HBP and none of the meds prescribed have been effective (and I'm anti-rxes -- take 4 prescriptions and there will be drug interaction side effects). Quad by-pass in August w/ a valve replacement & had had a heart attack w/o being aware I'd had it. I studied Ayurveda and do not have lifestyle factors typically causing this. Ancestral/ genetic root cause but life situation definitely creating vata imbalance. I meditate and do pranayama. etc. I've not tried mudras nor learned much about them, which makes your video pure gold. Pranams.

I am compelled to share. Pressure was 169/96. Yes, very high. I did the base of the thumb area for 5 minutes and the fingertips for 2 minutes each. Checked my pressure - 148/87. I am on no medication for high blood pressure and do not want to go down that road so I am committed to doing this 4 times a day along with the breathing. Thank you for this.

This is great information. I will practice this each day. I'm shooting for a 110 - 120 / 70 - 80 blood pressure. Cutting carbs and sodium but need to be careful with fats. I enjoy my bacon and eggs. I will continue forward.

Animal fat is needed for cell and mitochondria function. Fat is energy. Salt is needed for the entire body to function. Carbs, sugar, seed oils and processed junk is the biggest cause of disease .

I found a AP tip for High Bp on youtube many years ago using the finger tip points you showed, as a hypertension sufferer It healed my bp so much that my Doctor took me off one of my bp medications (I was on 2 different brands before.) Those fingertiip points are very effective and works fast also.

Been doing it since 2015 when I saw the tip on a youtube video but I had improvement in bp almost immediately then 2 years ago my doctor took off one of my bp tablets but kept me going on just the other one because of a history of hypertension and stroke. (pre 2015) And that's it. Good luck.

That's a misconception. Switch to unrefined, Celtic salt which is full of minerals we need and won't have you retaining fluid. Lower carbs, especially refined carbs and that will help the most. Carbohydrates require more water to process and digest in the body.

@@sharnup4919 you can find those values on the internet. Bellow 90/60 is a low blood pressure Between 90/60 - 120/80 is normal Between 120/80 - 140/90 is area of pre-hypertention Between 140/90 - 160/100 is area of stage 1 hypertension Above 160/100 is area of stage 2 hypertension.
