Adding a circle skirt to the Brighton cami and some tips on Burda 7546

Hi Everyone! This week I'll show you all how I draft a circle skirt to make my Brighton Cami into a slip dress plus I have a few tips on making my favorite Burda 7546 pants. As always links are below thanks so much.for watching and please let me know if you have any questions.

Loving your burda pants and I agree with you on the Sussex seamstress top the proportions are out with all the fullness together but they look fab with the other pink top. Also again I think the scrappy top would look better sized down and without the ties 😀 hope your feeling better soon and looking forward to your Tina Givens vlog next week 💃🏼🙂

Gini, hope you feel better soon! LUV the citrus/hot pink color combo & totally agree about too much waist-hip volume with the slip dress (and the TG "walking top" is a perfect alternative) so cute! And I will always encourage new shoes. Heheheheh

Thank you, Gini! Super cute makes! Great tutorial! I will try this, I have some lightweight white linen! I have put "KL" ties on a couple of tops, and I like them fine, with a bit less circumference. I like to tie them in back or in front - when tied in front, they don't drop into the toilet bowl! lol Your are beautiful . Be well!💗

The tutorial was fabulous and the tips on the pants are going to be so helpful 👏. You look beautiful without makeup! I wish I looked that great without makeup. I usually use tinted mineral sunscreen instead of makeup. It keeps me from looking so washed out. I’m so sorry you were sick.😢 I think had the same cold last week also. Wow, I’ve also had eye injury from a chemical. I agree, icky salve, but it really helped. Gosh , I am amazed you were able to finish all that sewing and the tutorial. Again thank you so very much😘💕👏. I am also so looking forward to your TG tips next week.😊😍. I have quite a few of her patterns and tried several and gave up after several tries that still didn’t fit. I meeeaaan laughing at your colorful descriptions, the eye cream sounds icky but you still look great even without makeup. Though I would have enjoyed seeing you wear mascarra on only one eye. So you thought youd look like the head of the Droobs, eh? Lol! So funny you mentioned that movie, I was just trying to explain it to a woman who had never seen it. Seriously, first, I hope youre feeling better soon. Second, totally agree about the pink slip over the Burdas. Much better over the Chanterelles. I love the Burdas, I'm always tempted to add the loose elastic in the hem but havent yet. I'm not sure why. Maybe I'll try it for a pair of white linen ones this summer.

I couldn't remember the names from that movie but that image of Malcolm popped into my head. I don't think I realized that was a Stanley Kubrick film? but then again I haven't seen in in decades. Gorgeous pants, so roomy, kind of Indian style. Nah, I never like ribbons and ties! Strong lippy colour and almost naked eyes can look striking! Here in Uk I use No 7s Gay Geranium which is worth wearing just for the name! Hope you feel better soon x

Are you serious Gini? Those cute oversized glasses and short spikey hair…..how cute are you? You look great. The ties on the cami top are ok. I would probably remove them. I want lagenlook, not fitted. Seems counterintuitive. It’s like making baggy pants more fitted. Love those Burda pants and finally bought the pattern.

Hi Gini! Have you checked out the lantern pants in Simplicity pattern 9907? They look like something you might like, they have an interesting shape with darts front and back on the bottom of the legs.

Yes! Last week another viewer turned me on to that pattern. I haven't purchased it yet as I was waiting for a sale but looks like simplicity is having one now 😃😃😃
