Adding Soap Stone To Our Off Grid A-Frame Home

We only have a few major projects left in this portion of our off-grid A-Frame home before we can begin building the deck and bedroom wing of the house. The finishing details of a home seem to take the longest but they really bring the whole interior together giving it a much more finished look. Today we are excited to add soapstone to our home and check a few more things off our to-do list.

We are a couple who are building our own home from the ground up in the mountains of West Virginia. After living near the city our entire lives we finally decided to sell it all, pack up our 3 kids and live in an RV on our 73 acres while we built our own off-grid house and learned to lived a more self-reliant life.

I am SO happy for you guys! I lived in a camper for about 1 month and it was HORRIBLE! I don't know you did it for so long. Mine was a bit smaller than yours, I am sure, but I was only one person. It was in Miami in midsummer and the A/C quit and the camper was where NO breeze would reach it. I had a huge fan which basically saved me from suicide. I have such RESPECT for you two!
