Japan's Most Expensive Steak - Matsusaka Wagyu Beef Teppanyaki

Teppanyaki & BBQ style preparation of rare Matsusaka Wagyu in Tokyo - Japan's most prestigious and most expensive Beef Steak. High-end Teppanyaki steak restaurants will eventually turn to this mixed cooking method: the 30 seconds on the BBQ grill added a subtle hint of smoke to the steak without covering the steak's own taste: an excellent combination!

I just love the way of cooking in front of the customer - popular in Japan. Also to see how clean the kitchen is and the strict 'rules' of clean cooking by the chefs just makes the experience this whole lot more special. I never experienced it but hope at least once to have the pleasure of visiting Japan and sampling the many superb recipes for myself. Thank you for a very tasty video!!! mmmmm.....

Keylanos Loki Your silly comment shows how little you know! I spend more than that just about every weekend on a dinner at a very good restaurant, incl.drinks of course. A real dining experience at a 5-star Michelin restaurant, like a 9 -course degustation dinner incl.drinks, would leave you with very little change out of $1500.00 Of course only if one is rather moderate and sticks to the sort of cheapest wines....the ones around the $150-300 a bottle. A 78 magnum of Dom for $3500 is with such a tight budget unfortunately out of the question. cheers.

craig7810 I forget the exact price, but the meal costed approximately 150 USD per person. But that was a 5 course meal. If you want a real bang for your buck, go to tottori. But you really can't go wrong with any food in Japan. Even their McDonald's are better. Be warned though, everything is generally more expensive compared to US.
