Hey Max. Awesome tutorial, really easy to follow but I got stuck at one point as I was following along. When I was linking my Path 2 'starting point' to Point 2 'position', it would place it in a different place and not at the anchor point of Point 2. Same result in linking ending point to Point 3. Any idea why this might be happening? Thanks and hope you can help.
@MaxwellRidgeway7 жыл бұрын
Give me a bit to look up the problem. Lol it's been a while since I made this tutorial and now I need to follow it to make it again, haha! Thanks for reaching out though, I should be able to respond soon.

Thank you Max you're very kind. I hope was able to explain my problem. But hope to hear from you soon.
@brad36817 жыл бұрын
I was having the same problem and got around it by making the paths first and linking them before I made the circles. Doesn't really make sense why that work but it did so maybe give that a try :)
@GeoffCoope6 жыл бұрын
A quick fix for this issue myself (CC2018) was to delete Path 2, duplicate the linked Path 1 and just redo the position links as per the video.

Hey, Great work on the video, I enjoyed it! I have a question, if u want to work with several callouts, how do you manage it in AE? I've tried to pre-compose it, but it's not able to do drag and adjust the null objects. Thanks in advance!
@MaxwellRidgeway7 жыл бұрын
No worries, I would download a plugin called True Comp Duplicator "It's free :D" It allows you to duplicated compositions and all assets within to make multiple editable compositions. On a side note, I just launched a new tut channel to separate my content based videos like the vlogs from the tutorials like these. kzbin.info/door/if-Dt0pztq1mqHgTjb-Bug and I plan on making a much more advanced call out titles template "tutorial included" to launch with that channel as well as a whole another assortment of tuts, projects files etc.. Also it's taking a little longer than expected because I'm on Windows 10 now! Woop woop, It's a high end pc workstation that I built myself for animation and video editing! Where I'll have a few videos about it coming out on this channel soon too! I hope I somewhat answered your question in the beginning! Let me know if you need anymore help and maybe I can setup a impromptu live stream in a day or two to answer some questions for you and some others from this tut! Cheers!

How can I drop down a 'position keyframe' (10 min 58 in the video) and 'keyframe to scale (5 min 04 in the video) without using the >drop down menu? If I use the 'key' in the opened drop down menu and click on the 'shape layer' there is no layer to see like you showed in the video. What am I doing wrong?
