Thank you Alastair for these recent videos. Enjoying them. I have always thought of going to Borneo and hiking through the Jungle. It's not random. I would actually like to feel close to what my father (Terry Jick) and Lofty Wiseman felt when they would spend months in there during the Malay confrontation. Always wondered and it's fast disappearing. Also possibly hike the Danube from source, hike the Pyrenees, Transylvania, the CDT, John Muir Trail, PCT, visit the temperate forests of the Pacific North West and so many others. Maaan there is enough to keep going for a life time. Well, that's it. Until next time all the best. Mark.

I would like to thru hike the pennine way. But the highest cost would be the trains to get to Edale and back from Scotland.

Cycle the 100 Greatest Climbs in the UK, in one go. effectively a super-tour of the UK. Climb all the Munro's in Scotland. Replicate the red bull X Alps route. Kayak the length of the Nile. Swim in every UK lake.

I'm from Brazil but I live in the U.S. There's plenty to do here, I think I'd plan and try to hit as many National Parks as possible with $1000.
