Hello! I'm Andy - a semi-professional singer-songwriter from the UK, based in Germany. I'm a solo artist as well as vocalist of a rock band. I also teach English Language at university level.
Due to covid-19 restrictions forcing an online semester on us, I recently held a special online version of my course "The Language of Songwriting." Part of the final project included the option of making a reaction/review video to a song that my students particularly enjoy, discussing what elements of the song(writing) are special to them. I never give out tasks I'm not willing to do myself, so I recorded one of my own (Ghost Love Score by Nightwish, also on my channel).
I put it on KZbin for fun to see whether there was interest in this kind of video, and I was really pleasantly surprised at the positive responses! So I've gone ahead and made some more! Joost van den Broek is the keyboardist who also worked with Ayreon projects and accompanied Floor in some of her recent home performances including Alone.( previously covered by Heart). Plus he has several of his own projects.

Arrangement by Joost van den Broek, who was mentioned earlier in the comments. Yet another reason everyone should have known Floor was something special long before she joined Nightwish. If you're willing, I would like to suggest the song: Monolith of Doubt which they performed on a TV show (Kopspijkers in 2002) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/aYXQfHuhht1na7c - For me this was the first time ever I saw After Forever. And it definitely made an impression. Even back than she already had it. She is truly born for the stage.

Another song I would like to bring to your attention is Beautiful Emptiness which After Forever performed at Pinkpop 2004 - kzbin.info/www/bejne/gKayZmaLgrJ4osU - From this concert more videos are available, such as for the ballad Eccentric. It's too bad they disbanded, because they were a great band.
