Ya this is a mistake, glasspool mimic ENTERS as a creature, and risen reef was not on the battlefield when the clone is entering. You can search up the rules. 7/1/2012: If Clone somehow enters the battlefield at the same time as another creature, Clone can’t become a copy of that creature. You may only choose a creature that’s already on the battlefield.
@Reach_W Жыл бұрын
@@JacoDeltaco Unfortunately, you're wrong, or I guess actually right, but about the wrong thing. Clone effects like Glasspool Mimic's are replacement effects, which modify events as they occur. In this case, we're being asked to select a creature for Glasspool Mimic to enter as a copy of as it enters, and the only creature Crim controls is a Tangled Florahedron, as neither creature from Collected Company has entered the battlefield yet. Edit to add: To be clear, they do see each other enter, and so Risen Reef would see a Tangled Florahedron (another Elemental) enter and trigger appropriately. It's just that Risen Reef isn't a valid choice for the copy effect.
