Baylan's back story better be really good! He was able to beat someone that survived order 66 by fighting off an entire battalion of clone troopers, was personally trained by Anakin Skywalker, and was able to fight Vader for some time without being instantly killed like most other Jedi.

Ahsoka is super powerful but she was trained specifically to combat multiple targets, she’s best against droids and troopers using blasters etc. Ahsoka and Baylan appeared to be equals, but Baylan seems to be physically stronger… I’m interested why she chose not to use her short lightsaber as well… perhaps 1 on 1 against force users like Baylan it’s better to use just her main lightsaber.

I'm going to go back to watch the Rebels episodes about The World Between Worlds, but my personal theory is that this version of Anakin exists as a guide for Ahsoka to let go of her guilt over Anakin's turn to the dark side, show us who Baylan is, and get Ahsoka to this new galaxy.

A lot of people question if Ahsoka is a Jedi. But the way I see it, her walking away from the order at the time that she did, when the order had seemingly lost their way, makes her wiser than anyone who was on the council at the time. Even Yoda. She walked away while still holding on to the principles of the Jedi, that the order had lost sight of and continued to be a force of good. While Yoda and Obi Wan were in hiding Ahsoka was in the trenches planting seeds of rebellion to bring the galaxy out of darkness. The way I see it, that makes her more Jedi than any of them.

I really hope that they don't bring back Kanan. Don't get me wrong he was a great character and I loved his growth in Rebels, but he had one of the most emotional and heroic deaths in all of Star Wars, imo. Bringing him back would ruin such a *heavy* moment.

I like to think that force ghosts were a response of the force when the dark side actually was winning. By immortalizing some trained Jedi, there was no way to permanently destroy the knowledge. If Kanan is brought back as a ghost, it’s strictly as a a tool of the force to help maintain the like 5 known Jedi in this era.

This is mortis stuff for sure, but I think Anakin has assumed his role as the Father in death, and it’s his job to keep balance between the light and dark. Ahsoka is supposed to represent the light side (as she harbors the spirit of the daughter), but her fears from her past traumas are corrupting her spirit as she leans into the dark side more and more frequently as a result of these fears. Anakin has come back to finish her training, by showing her the past was never her fault, and should not be her burden to carry, all so that she may let go of her fears about being a master and return to the light.

Dont forget that Anakin occasionally broke Jedi rules. Maybe as a force-ghost, he broke another one by saving Ahsoka and transported her to that weird place at the end.

@@kingbooomer9231 force ghost are in a way omnipotent, and theyre also beyond time and space, which means theres they cant be timed out because they dont follow time, anakin cant have been timed out during the sequel era because the force ghost anakin we see here and at the end of the original trilogy could go to the sequel era right after because he is of a higher dimension and can exist everywhere all the time as long as theres a shatter point or a conduit of the force, theyre not bound by 3 dimensional rules. he also wouldnt be able to be timed out by anyone because he is part of the cosmic force, which is not a god that is a person, thus noone will time him out and no being such as a celestial would have any reason to do so either

I think Ahsoka will always go to the WBW since the Daughter's soul is in Ahsoka. So Ezra didn't break any time travel rules, because Ahsoka would always end up in the WBW if "killed."

*Star* *Wars* *Multiverse* Star Wars is finally going to open up their own Multiverse and I'm all for it. If Star Trek, MCU, DCEU, and even the newest Beavis and Butt-Head have done this, SW might as well follow. We can see Harrison Ford back as Han whether de-aged or not. Same with Mark Hamill which they've already done in Mando S2E8 and Boba S1E6. They can use Elizabeth Dulau (Kleya from Andor) who is a dead ringer for Carrie Fisher. Alter her voice a little bit, re-do her hair, and she can play Princess Leia from any period between A New Hope and The Mandalorian/The Book of Boba Fett/Ahsoka or any time before Rey's story. You can even mix up Ewan's Obi-Wan meeting Harrison's Han and Mark's Luke if we are dealing with time travel and multiverse. We saw Star Trek (2009) with Leonard Nimoy in it who was time traveling and came from an alternate universe. Nobody is ever truly dead from time travel and multiverse. It's a great way to reboot everything. Qui-Gon can come back too since Liam Neeson is still alive. Ahsoka's Ep 5 might act like Flashpoint/The Flash (2023) in DC and can reboot everything. Look at MCU's What If...? I'm thinking Episode 5 is going to alter events and I believe we'll have an alternate timeline when Anakin does NOT become Vader. Hayden can star in it with Ewan and there's no Vader. Hayden and Ewan can have a series together fighting villains as Jedis. They can get Jake Lloyd to be a cool Jedi like they did for Ahmed Best. Poor Jake. The Phantom Menace ruined his life. By rebooting Star Wars through time travel/multiverse, they can create their own future set of events and erase that Sequel Trilogy. Star Wars is doing what DC is about to do with Gunn and may wipe out the Anakin to Vader story with a clean slate. Or Hayden's Anakin can still end up as Vader but the set of circumstances are different. The possibilities are endless. Maybe in this Star Wars Expanded Universe/Legends alternate timeline/reality, we finally get to see Mara Jade and she's married to Luke. They have twins. I don't want Luke to die a virgin and his only kiss from a female came from his sister! No wonder he was grouchy in The Last Jedi! More like The Last American Virgin (1982). Multiverse can now make Star Wars Legends canon but operating in their own reality/timeline.

Breakdown video people *ALWAYS* pretend that a new character is suddenly going to be introduced with a whole plot that most people won't be familiar with... 😂 What *actually happens* is that Disney goes for the more simple and straightforward story. How many Mephistos are we going to go through before you learn your lesson? I think Ahsoka and Anakin are going to have a nice conversation and trip down memory lane in order to give the audience a recap and memberberries before he sends her to where Thrawn is. At most they might have a temporary Darth Vader fakeout to recap Ahsoka's fight with Darth Vader. However I do think they're going to at least have a practice fight so he can teach her some things and pass on some knowledge before sending her on which is why he is wearing his lightsaber.

I think this is Darth Vader Anakin (after murdeing Windu, before BBQ). He's in the World Between Worlds to prevent Padme from dying and Ahsoka is about to mess that up. This is going to be a heartbreaking reunion. The World Between Worlds is how Darth Plageus the Wise "kept the ones he cared about from dying". Other evidence... - Imperial March - Wearing the same clothes as he did after he fell. - It was never really explained why Anakin couldn't prevent Padme from dying. - Anakin "I didn't expect to see you so soon". In his timeline, the last time he saw Ahsoka was right before she went to Mandalore to capture Maul and he went to Coruscant to protect Palpatine from Dooku.

I realize this is a stretch, but it would make sense that the Jedi Temple during the killing of the younglings could be a moment/location in the WBW. If (big if) the Palapatine WBW scene from Rebels happened before Anakin became Darth Vader, he would have likely had some sense that a powerful enough could get to it.

Theory: I believe that episode 5 will begin where we left off with Anakin giving Ahsoka a pep talk. Somewhere down the line Ahsoka will mentioned their encounter at Malecore triggering Anakin to become Vader. A Fight will ensue and they both fall through one of the portholes to Mustafar where the fight continues. When Anakin gets the upper hand someone pulls Ahsoka back into TWBW. Its Kanan! Ahsoka then reunites with Hera and the others and tells Hera she has a message from Kanan. " Take Jacen to Luke SkyWalker at Ossus for training." . They return to Seatos and connect with the Purgils through the force, convincing them to take them to the other Galaxy (Ala Ezra). Upon Arrival they discover that Morgan has created an Army of the Dead for Thrawn.

It is actually Anakin/Vader. How do I know? I read the released/leaked document which describes all the information regarding plot, actors/actresses, runtime etc for each of the episodes. Anakin stays with Ahsoka until the finale. And no, Liam Neeson has already announced he is fed up with playing his role as Qui Gon due to how much Star Wars content there is now, and therefore, he won't be reprising his role.

But what does this have to do with Thrawn? I don't think they have enough time left to properly do both the Thrawn storyline, AND a Mortis Gods storyline, so I would lean towards this not being the Brother incognito. I think this is more personal with Ahsoka, tying into Baylan's talk about her "legacy" is one of death and destruction. That clearly had an effect on her, so Ahsoka clearly feels guilt for something (or multiple things). Possibly some guilt from her abandoning the Order (and Anakin), which may have contributed to his fall, but I don't think it's that. Between her unofficial return to help reclaim Mandalore from Maul, where she reconnected with Anakin, and confronting Vader on Malachor, I think she would have worked out that she had done as much as she could have to prevent Anakin's fall. I think it's more recent than that. We find out that the Wren family died on Mandalore (likely during Gideon's purge, "The Night of a Thousand Tears"), and that Sabine holds some resentment against Ahsoka for it (Baylan's "Your family died because your master didn't trust you"). I think Sabine had a premonition about Gideon's purge, attempted to convince Ahsoka to do something about it, Ahsoka didn't believe her (likely owing to Anakin's premonitions and how they can be misinterpreted), and chose not to act. Unfortunately, the premonition came true, and Sabine's family died. This event splits the two apart, is likely acting as some sort of block against Sabine wielding the Force (much like what Kanan sensed back when he trained her to use the Darksaber, she's holding onto her Mandalorian heritage too much), and is why Ahsoka isn't always acting like her younger self (even her older, younger self from Rebels). The World-Between-Worlds has been shown to allow people to influence and change the past, and we also see that there are some differences between the end scene of Rebels with Ahsoka and Sabine, and how that same scene was portrayed at the end of Episode 2 of this show, like with Ahsoka's clothing (white robes and a staff vs grey robes, the whole Gandalf-y thing) and Sabine's demeanor (she seems more optimistic in the animated version, compared to the live action. I think there are three possibilities. Anakin is going to help Ahsoka work through the guilt about her role in the death of Sabine's family. Anakin is going to help Ahsoka attempt to change the past, by convincing younger Ahsoka to listen to/trust Sabine, and whether or not they could prevent the destruction or at least save Sabine's family, Ahsoka and Sabine's bond wouldn't be damaged. OR, Anakin is going to help Ahsoka recognize that the timeline HAS been altered (explaining the differences between the Rebels ending and the Episode 2 ending) by dark forces (possibly Morgaine, Thrawn, or some other threat) and Ahsoka is there to prevent/undo those changes.

When you compare Anakin's look in this show vs. Obi Wan, idk if they were using CGI to depict him as younger here (which they didn't do as blatantly in the obi-wan show imo), but something was kind of "off" about Anakin here... he almost looked too perfect... and with the Imperial March music playing at the end maybe not all is as it seems...

Is it just me or is the volume of this video really high? Had to turn my master volume down to 20% to make it listenable. I mean, I love MT's voice, but not to the point of making my ears bleed. Regarding the actual content, amazing theory (as always) but I really hope it's not the case. First of all, let's be real. The writers of this show are not that clever and most Disney+ shows are not made to blow your mind. Secondly, if this turns out to be the Son in disguise, it would even further alienate non-diehard fans who are already lost in this show. My friends who haven't watched the animated shows are so done with Ahsoka. I think Dave Filoni is getting lost in his own world and doesn't have the creative thinktank behind him to reign him in. It's like what happened to Lucas between the OT and PT. It's like poetry. It rhymes.

Some great thoughts! Particularly the idea that it's not really Anakin. The Vader theme playing as he appears seems like a good clue. It's also been questioned why he still has his gloved mechanical hand if it really is Anakin's spirit. Perhaps that's b/c it's how The Son remembers Anakin when he last saw him? If it is the Son, I'm not sure that he would be able to possess Ahsoka though, since the whole point of the Son and Daughter were that they existed to balance each other - a Ying and Yang type of situation? I definitely think Ahsoka's past experience in the World Between Worlds with Ezra will factor in, likely being how she reaches him.

As much as us nerds like creating complex theory's to discuss cool shit I don't think its 'The Son' I think the obvious choice is most likely the correct one and this is Ashoka's master Anakin showing up at her lowest point to get her back on the right track. Like Yoda did with Luke in the Rise of Skywalker and Obi-wan did when he was younger in Empire. Luke blamed himself for what happened to the Jedi and only when he let go of that did he become what he was always meant to be. Ahsoka blamed herself for what happened to Anakin and I guess what happened to the Jedi as a result of the Sith returning, I'm guessing once she talks to force ghost Anakin he will relay some Jedi Master like knowledge that will help her overcome this guilt and finally become a true Jedi. In Clone Wars, Rebels and Mandalorian season 2 she states "I am no Jedi" and I think after this encounter with Anakin she will finally see herself once again as a Jedi and this will be super important going forward with the Mandoverse movie which is in the works.

Ahsoka to Ezra in the world between worlds: "You can't save your master, and I can't save mine." This aint Annakin. I definitely buy the son theory... They have to expound on the Mortis gods in this season in my opinion... otherwise all the allusions to them don't make much sense for live-action only viewers. They would also have to create a whole nother story to get the real Annakin into the world between worlds to save Ahsoka... which is basically impossible because unless he as Vader achieved this between turning to the dark side and the battle with Obi-wan, this would not make any sense... and that in itself would not make any sense because he is constantly on the move in that time frame.

This starts with a false/unproven premise: that Ahsoka is actually in the WBW when that may not be the case. We see no portals in the visuals, we hear no other voices besides Anakin's - completely different than what we saw in Rebels. I believe she's simply in the "in between" - she's not alive but she's not yet become one with the Force. The Force brought her to this to finish her teaching, embodying Anakin in a form Ahsoka remembers from the last time they saw each other in Clone Wars final season.
