What’s poppin’, Sky-Guys! It’s me, MT! And Ahsoka has got me so hype for the future of Star Wars, man! Because the second coming of Thrawn is upon us! All the hidden details sprinkled throughout the first two episodes point to some really exciting Star Wars concepts that involve shattering the very fabric of space/time as we know it! Let’s get into it all right now!
Alright so, the first two episodes establish the reason for this Ahsoka Season: Morgan Elsbeth and her two Dark Side buddies Baylan and Shin are trying to find a way to reach Grand Admiral Thrawn in a galaxy far, far away. This is, of course, after the Jedi Ezra Bridger used the help of special, hyper-space traveling space whales called purgill to warp Thrawn’s azure asshole off to regions unknown during his last appearance in the Star Wars Rebels series. But one of the most intriguing parts of the episode happens when Morgan Elsbeth mentions how she’s been communicating with Thrawn despite not having seen him since he vanished. Take a listen.

I love the lore of Mortis. It looks like the Dathomir Witches had a different outlook on them and used what looks to be high priestess night sisters to represent it. Every culture has different outlook on a higher power and I love how they transferred that into Star Wats lore.

I wonder if Thrawn is using the remains of the Lothal temple to contact Elsbeth. The Empire had loaded the remains into Trawn’s star destroyer Chimera. It got a bit more trashed after Ezra refused to help Palpatine, but Thrawn is clever and understands art. He may have cobbled together enough to reach out, even if in a limited way. 🤔

There are multiple references to religion throughout star wars. Christianity, Judaism, Norse Paganism, Buddhism. I'm a christian personally but I noticed in the first episode where Sabine is on Ahsoka's ship and looking at her artwork in her old bunk. There is what looks like a church with a cross on top of it. Its around 33:23 of the first episode of Ahsoka. I noticed that before I did the Trinity.

A few things have bugged me about Ahsoka so far. The monument, why is it so high up? No one would be able to see it. Heras helmet, looks like a pair of childs leather shorts and the googles, why? I dont think ive ever seen her wear them. Morgans map, Morgan knows where Thrawn is, as others do surely, why hide the map? You would tell all your Imperial friends how to find Thrawn surely?.

Hiring *Bruce* *Lee's* *goddaughter* is perfect for Ahsoka. I bet Diana Lee Inosanto trains Rosario since eskrima/kali/arnis involves two fighting sticks and Ahsoka happens to be a double-wielder. I don't see Morgan dying anytime soon. I expect Baylan to get killed off. They'll keep Diana around like The Mandalorian did with Giancarlo Esposito for three seasons. If Diana's character does get killed this season, I could still see her "stick" around to help choreograph the fight scenes and train Rosario wielding two lightsabers. I love Michelle Yeoh but she's not a real martial artist like Diana. Diana is very good friends with Shannon Lee, Bruce's only surviving offspring and daughter. They're practically sisters. I'm seeing a lot of photos with Diana and Shannon together. There's a cute one with them doing a peace sign and the photo above it is their dads doing the same. See one with Diana next to Brandon and Shannon when they were still kids. Think about it, we have Bruce Lee's goddaughter helping with a Star Wars project and she's representing Filipinos! That's badass. Filipinos are finally getting represented well in Disney. We're not stuck with just Ned in the MCU Spider-Man films. Bruce Lee's teachings lives on!!! There's one scene in Ahsoka where I had to slow it down to 0.25x speed on my phone. When the droid dropped from the ceiling. Ahsoka slashed it twice but it went so quickly. If you see it in slow-mo, it looks solid. She does wield them out smoothly. Rosario's movements aren't really stylish and dynamic like Hayden's and Adam's as she's not athletic like them in their 20s and 30s, but it's simpler and efficient.

One thing we need to realize is George Lucas is the type of director who didn't want much dialogue in his films. If you ever seen THX 1138 (1971), it's very much like Ahsoka. Plenty of dead silence. If you look at past interviews, he wanted to make films with little to no dialogue. It seems George is getting his wish from Dave. He wants more scenery and less talking which hurts the series if he wants it that way. He wants action to speak for his characters. We can't fault Rosario or any of the actresses for this. Lucas wanted more abstract films where the audience figures it out without the dialogue. Star Wars is known for shitty dialogue anyway dating back to A New Hope and Lucas is a terrible screenplay writer as witnessed in Attack of the Clones. The romantic exchanges between Anakin and Padmé were just awful. George needs AI to write his scripts because he's terrible at writing dialogue unlike Tarantino or Nolan. Personally, I just wished they added interesting music during the long silences. It worked with Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood. There's a few scenes where Tarantino just meanders with the camera as the story is non-existent and is more of a hangout film like Dazed And Confused but interesting sounds and music were still filling the quiet moments when the characters weren't speaking.

If the Chiss Ascendancy is in this new galaxy(?), and if Thrawn was yeeted to it at the end of rebels then could he have met back up with Eli? Please correct me if I'm wrong about any of the information, but that would be pretty dope to see Eli's story continue. Timothy Zahn was even consulted by Filoni when writing Ashoka.

Why buy Ambien?,... just watch Ahsoka if you have trouble falling asleep. Rudimentary dialogue with no line longer than three words. Not only that, if you add abismal stone faced acting which prohibits any kind of facial gesture along with mechanical sword fighting, you get a boring woke continuation of the ill fated sequel. By the way, a movie plot based on finding a lost charachter has been done to death in the Star Wars universe.

What I found interesting about the arc when Obi wan, Ani, and Tano found themselves encountering the force Gods is the father told Anakin he is supposed to take his place to bring balance to the force. Either that's a plot hole that never got brought up again, or Anakin will eventually ascend past a force ghost and officially take his place with Tano taking the daughters' place. If that's the case then who would take the place of the son? Remember there has to be a balance. So I'm wondering if star wars is trying to bring back the force as a magical power while actually giving the whole balance of the force prophecy it's meaning. I'm pretty sure this is a leap; but I suspect star wars going forward whether in games, comics, shows, or movies both the rakata and the written prophecy of bringing balance back to the force will be located. So if that's the case then we will hopefully soon see a force ghost Qui Gon explaining what he found and where.

I love MT here. Only complaint is the recording quality. I think it needs to match all the rest of the heavy spoiler’s video. It sounds like he’s in a closet with a cheap mic. Set him up with quality gear to record. I realize it’s nitpicky but I’m just saying it would be absolutely perfect. So good tho and soooo much more better than that cheesy jarred character

This isn’t right. I’ve seen only around 3 seasons of Clone Wars and one episode of Rebels. So I don’t understand the names and stuff they are referencing. Besides, I’m beginning to think Dave Filoni is not right for Star Wars anymore.

I guess I am too old, cartoon live action is lame. Story is boring, Rosario Dawson can't act, dialogue is very basic, visual effects look cheap, lighting is bad. I am out after 2 episodes.
