It should be noted that when Ryan mentions at 5:30 that there's a novel in which Thrawn teaches Vader how to navigate hyperspace using the Force, the reason Thrawn knows how to do this is NOT because Thrawn is Force-sensitive, but because among the Chiss (Thrawn's species) there are a few girls that are born Force-sensitive whose purpose is then to be navigators aboard Chiss ships through hyperspace. They are girls because, for some reason, only females among the Chiss are born with this connection to the Force, and they also lose this ability as they grow older. Meaning that it's only young Chiss females that can be these navigators. Also, and perhaps the coolest detail, is that the Chiss call these young navigator girls "sky-walkers".

All correct, just a side note that in Thrawn Treason there is a Chiss former-skywalker who maintains her ability past her childhood. One of the things that Thrawn is actively looking to find out about is why she maintained it. An interesting side note, Thrawn is most loyal to the Chiss, and he knows that Vader/Anakin killed the Jedi and are hunting them. And the whole Chiss Ascendancy relies on the sky walkers for the transportation of their fleets. If Palpatine and Vader were to succeed in their hunting of anyone force-sensitive in the galaxy, that would eventually impact the Chiss. Finally, Thrawn doesn't exactly "instruct" Vader to be able to do this as commenters said. Vader knows about the ability of the Sky Walker Chiss, and Thrawn basically tells Vader he's more powerful than they are, and if a child can do it then the most powerful force wielder can too. Vader's all like "of course i can move over:.

I feel people are overthinking the Anakin in the world between worlds. I think he's just the force ghost appearing to her in the way she last remembered him as good person. The line "I didn't expect to see you so soon", is him just quipping with her and giving her crap about almost dying and meeting her in the Force "afterlife".

Can someone explain to me how it's possible that Jedi Order for all years they were in power or Yoda etc. had no clue about World between worlds? and some random Ezra Bridger knows the biggest mystery in the Star Wars universe? @@FexxarTV That’s most likely the reason why Dooku left the Jedi for the Sith; the Jedi Council were so removed from the force and focused on the being soldiers in the war that a majority couldn’t access the World Between Worlds. Only strong force users could access that realm, and the only people that I believed could’ve accessed it during the height of the Jedi were Qui-Gon, Dooku, and Yoda. Anakin, Ezra, Luke & Rey were born strong with the force which gave a huge advantage over regular force users.

It is The Son. The Mortis Gods are literally on the doorway to the WBW. Erza and Sabine had to figure out the Mortis God's mural puzzle. When Ezra entered the WBW, Morai the spirit animal of The Daughter was already in the WBW. Also Ahsoka was killed by The Son, and The Daughter sacrificed herself and gave her essence to Ahsoka. The WBW is the nexus of the Cosmic Force. The Mortis Gods are part of the Cosmic Force. The Son is disguising himself as Anakin to trick Ahsoka for whatever reason we will find out.

"When Ahsoka left him, it made Anakin distrust the Jedi Council." He already distrusted them, though in slightly a different direction. He was siding with Tarkin in using more cutthroat military tactics against the Separatists. He though that the Jedi were dragging the war on by not changing their tactics. When Ahsoka and he are talking in that scene where she leaves, he says something to the effect of "I've thought of leaving the Jedi Order" and she says "I know."

The World Between Worlds is most likely the afterlife, and not time travel, also the next episode of Ahsoka will probably tie into Star Wars Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker, when Rey is on Exegol and hears the voices of Anakin Skywalker & Ahsoka, so that might mean there will also be a Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi & Kanan Jarrus cameo!

We do see her walking back into the temple after Twilight of the Apprentice II, but while she may have returned to her previous physical location, she re-emerged concurrent with Ezra's time, 2 years later. While escaping the World Between Worlds, Ezra says to Ahsoka "come an find me", to which she replies "I will, I promise". We however, do not see Ahsoka again throughout season 3 and most of season 4 of rebels. The music might be even cooler than you think... Anakin's Theme does precede The Imperial March (Vader's Theme) in the scene. Williams did something similar in Episode I to foreshadow Anakin's future. Kiner is probably just cleverly reminding us of his past as Vader. This IS Anakin but after his fall & redemption. We're meant to feel emotionally conflicted because Ahsoka is too. Ahsoka is struck by nostalgia which is then tempered by memory. They have a complex history to sort out in Ep 5.

Further option: Anakin pulled Ahsoka into the world between worlds. Ezra has pulled Anakin in (pre episode 3) having accessed it from Peridia. Seeing the bigger picture and choosing not to use it to return. The Morai has guided Anakin to Ahsoka. Simply, theres no blue hue around Anakin; he is not a force ghost. Curious how the saber is just "reflecting darkness" (I know you really mean the shadow from his clothing) when the middle of the saber is the same material, and is not reflecting it? And why isn't his belt buckle reflecting it too? I mean, I'm open to this not being Vader's lightsaber, but they did play Vader's Theme after this (close captioning confirms it.) He's wearing a different outfit, as you point out, to his Force Ghost, so he's definitely something other here. Maybe he himself is a dark reflection of who he was.

I think the world between worlds is a closed loop way to travel time, You can go backward or forward to talk to people but anything you are doing there is fate or locked (you can’t actually change anything) Like you could warn Anakin his path leads to him becoming Vader but you can’t say or do anything that would actually make him never become Vader (it’s a fixed point) anything you say to do has technically already happened, so he still becomes Vader.
@robstein1313
@robstein1313 Жыл бұрын
Simpler: if you travel to the past to meet a past version of someone, but that someone has ALREADY traveled to the future to talk to a future version of you: you can’t actually change anything or say anything because the 2nd loop is now uneditable in order for you to be able to go back in time

If it’s a loop then Ahsoka warning Ezra makes no sense since she knew he didn’t save Kanan ;) if it’s all preordained then a WBT can’t give you advantage you where not destined to have anyway b nothing matters since we have no free will ;) that’s why I don’t like this concept at all, force visions are about possible future, Ahsoka after Ezra’s intervention could get from him some set in stone head’s up about next few years. And not saving Kanan was ensuring his sacrifice was not in vain. What’s the downside to warning Anakin that he will become Vader and krrrrking baby H… er, Baby Sheev in his crib in the grand scheme of things? It would prevent genocide at a galaxy scale. Could galaxy be worse without the Empire? 🙉

If this is truly Anakin, and she has the temptation to change his destiny but chooses not too, what a powerful moment we will see. My favorite thing about Obi-Wan was he stayed the course throughout his life. From the Jedi's failure to see the reemergence of the Sith right in front of them, seeing his apprentice become the face of the Dark Side, to a life of solitude and regret he stayed the course to protect the twins. Ashoka could essentially stop order 66 and the choice not to would be heartbreakingly noble. Staying the course. From a certain point of view that is.

I think Anakin's soul was forced out of his body by Vader. When it was, it went into the WBW... so this Anakin is from the past (end of Revenge Of The Sith). I think he will help her get past her regrets, and she will help redeem him and send him through a portal back into what's left of his body in ROTJ

In the star map in the closing credits, the planet, where Thrawn and Ezra supposedly are, has multiple lines going to it. Those lines could be theoretical routes, but they could also be practical routes taken by characters, and this is plausible because the lines arrive at the planet at different times. I mention this because one of those lines might be Ahsoka. No point in giving her a line if she is dead.

I think Ashoka fell through a portal because the map was activated in the henge. Look at the shapes . If I remember correctly, there is either a circle or half circle at the edge of the cliff. I don’t think she was pulled. The henge is more than just a locator, it’s also a doorway.

Can someone explain to me how it's possible that Jedi Order for all years they were in power or Yoda etc. had no clue about World between worlds? and some random Ezra Bridger knows the biggest mystery in the Star Wars universe? Emperor knew about this world and he had unlimited resources to find special planets yet Ezra could find them easily while Palpi couldnt?

I am hopeful that something happens to the effect of she and Anakin have a heart to heart, Anakin absolves her of any guilt and doubt and this in turn makes her far more powerful. Even before Ahsoka grabbed the map, Baylan was getting the upperhand in the fight from his raw power, and his mind games. Being free of that guilt will make Ahsoka immune to that and she would be able to fight with a free and clear mind. But that is just me.

Why is no one mentioning the temple. Every single time anyone has entered the world between worlds they have crossed some sort of threshold in a force sensitive location. Falling off a cliff is a perfect rhyme to this. Ezra through the wall of a temple. Ahsoka through the wall of the sith temple. And ahsoka off a cliff exiting a sacred witch ground.

It seems like Filoni is doing a take on Norse Myth from the Prose Edda. Please know that I haven't seem Rebels so this is just my take on what I've seen from Ahsoka so far. In Norse Myth, Skoll and Hati (the children of Fenrir) are the wolves that chase the son and the moon around the world--and when they finally catch their prey, it will be the beginning of Ragnarok, also known as the Twilight of the Gods. Ragnarok begins with Fimblewinter--a terrible winter that will last for three years and blanket the world in snow. At the end of this winter, Odin will lead the warriors of Asgard (with the dead warriors in Valhalla), against Loki and the Jotunheim (giants in the stories, but in Norse Myth the Jotuns are symbols of nature, the 'Wild'). Loki will arrive at the battle on the Naglfar, the ship of the dead, with all three of his children: Fenrir the Wolf, Jormagandr the World Serpent, and Hel, his half living, half dead daughter. In this final battle, all the gods and giants die save the sons of Odin and Thor, and Balder the Brave. The winter ends, and these survivors begin a new world together. There are several interpretations of this myth--one being the end of the time of the gods, and the beginning of the time of 'Man.' Others suggest that with the rise of Christianity, the 'old ways' had to be laid to rest to respect the new reality of Monotheism that the Norse and Icelandic people were now living in. I'm not sure exactly where Filoni is going with his story, but Baylan Skoll and Satine Hati are clearly references to the Norse Wolves, so a Ragnarok--a war to end all wars--seems to be coming, and they will usher it in. If any of you have any thoughts or corrections, please let me know. Thanks!

@crandleberrysadie
@crandleberrysadie Жыл бұрын
Turn someone else? I'd say she's the most obvious candidate for turning to the dark side. She's filled with self loathing and guilt, she's shown she's fearful by refusing to teach Grogu, even in this episode she displayed grief when she thought Sabine was dead and responded by angrily throwing Shin at a standing stone and her go to response is exactly what Baylan said it was ...violence. She is no longer Snips. She's a fearful, middle aged ex jedi who is filled with regret.

@@crandleberrysadie She's definitely got a lot of inner turmoil going on. However, I disagree that she will turn to the dark side. IMO, whatever happens in episode 5, that's when she will let go of her fear and guilt. Sort of like a Kanan arc

@@balancedboys Agreed 💯. I wasn't implying she was going to turn, merely that Sabine is less of a candidate in my mind. The biggest problem I have with Star Wars, way more than Palpatine somehow returning, is how they keep trying to convince us that a guy who mercilessly slaughtered a bunch of children "still has good in him." They never should have written that into Episode III. They could have had someone else do it, or just had Palpatine kidnap them to turn them into his minions or something. But having Anakin kill them and then "redeem" himself by saving his son's life doesn't cut it for me.
