I was playing in a bar in the Bronx , New York in early 90's. On a break a guy walks up to me and introduced himself ,Rob Sabino. I didn't know who he was but he wanted to buy me a beer and told me he was a musician in LA home visiting his Mother. Really nice guy , we had a great chat. He even showed me something on piano that I had played earlier the correct way to play , he wasn't being a tool either. When he left the bartender told me he was Bryan Adams keyboard player. he played Heaven on the Reckless album. I got goose bumps. As you were.

He just lauched "Waking up the neighbours" album by that time. almost 2 hours of pure joy, love, rock music , and a man who puts everything on the stage along with his band: Mike Curry and Keith Scott. Cannot recall if Dave Taylor was on that gig. A moment I won´t forget in the concert: There was a moment where the band played Aint gonna cry for you, and they appeared in the middle of the Auditorio Nacional attendance, inviting the people to dance in the improvised set. That was incredible!! This man is a treasure!

Hi Aileen 😊 Such a wonderfully heartfelt reaction and analysis 😊👍 As you were hearing the strummings of the acoustic guitar before Brian started to singing you had that look of anticipation and knowing and then it was confirmed that you had heard this song before and that was a magical moment to see. When you reacted to the 4 Non-Blondes What's Up, you recognized that song as well as you told us after the first break. In both these cases you were very pleased to be able to hear the original as compared to the covers. That is when it is very exciting when you discover our music. And even more so we are pleased that you want to. When a song is so beautiful it is hard not to get emotional. And yet, to hear the original you get all of the emotion of the original artist and why he or she wrote this song. We are human and we have emotions and beautiful instances invoke those emotions which are very appropriate. I didn't remember Heaven from the 1980s but I sure do remember Cuts Like a Knife and Summer of 69 as they played on the radio constantly. I have read all the comments and the heartfelt messages to you as you are truly loved. All the recommendations are fantastic and I look forward to hearing and seeing your reactions to them.
