Dude, Im a 59 year old do-it-yourselfer. I'm tired of putt'in off a project I know I can do myself. I got some starter gear and I turned my usual 3-d carved pumpkins into some really cool stuff. Now I want to expand my abilities, skulls flames and bullet holes are a great start. Your video is top notch and helps a lot . Thanks

What amazes me is after about 18:50 when you start adding the shading around the holes they jump off the canvas and come to life. I really appreciate the fixes as I’d get discouraged and give up rather than do a simple fix. Also beginners watching need to notice that as you’re doing the smoke you keep the air on continually so you don’t get spitting and tip dry. I picked that up from one of your previous videos Thx

Those annoying spittings when ya press the air on the guns and you are right about that. I just realized last night that I should keep the air flowing to prevent that, but I truly wish airbrush companies would prevent that in the first place.

Really you are a great artist. When I was young I used to put stickers of bullets on my bike to make it look good. People used to get impressed by seeing them and they used to ask me time and again where did you get it from. I used to say that I got it from outside. I like race bikes. And the artwork done on it impresses all the youth a lot.

I've been airbrushing through probably about 23 years I guess and I talked myself from watching people back then I didn't have no internet or anything that go watch my buddy that did shirts and of course I had airbrush magazine and that they really helped a great deal but there's just been able to see a person do it in action is always the best I mean you can learn so much from watching somebody and I'm glad that there's people like you out there that are putting their heart into showing other people I've actually met persons that that didn't want to show nobody thinking I guess they were scared someone would get their customers not me I taught for probably I guess close to 20 years and I had the guy asked me why aren't you afraid to get you know better than you and get your your business I said I want them to I wanted to be able to get better cuz they're at somebody's going to ask him how they learned and they're going to save me but today there's so much offered up on the internet that you know and don't cost nobody nothing but I'm thankful to the Lord that there's somebody like you out there doing that to help other people to understand may God bless you sir and your endeavors to teach and show people the wonderful art of airbrushing cuz it's not just about t-shirts it's about all art may Jesus Christ bless you and your endeavor

I love your lesson here, and it gives me ideas to do other things. Now, when ya did shadows around the bullet holes, I didn't really get it, I was like, "wait, aren't bullet holes indented?". Then when I saw you do one, it made sense, the metal parts (or paint particles of the metals) sticking out, so I'm thinking these bullet holes are from bullets shot from the other side, thus causing the metal or paint parts sticking out on that side (the exit side). So, actually, you can make bullet holes cause from either side (enter and exit side)... (yes, I Googled metal bullet holes lol). Keep up the great work, mate, I like watching your lessons!

Very awesome work,,,!!!! May I ask,? I cannot recall ever seeing a bullet hole “entry “recreation, I imagine due to basically just be a hole. The two videos of yours I have seen are exit holes. I suppose it’s just not that big of deal. But have you ever thought of doing an entry hole and an exit hole side by side? What would the differences be? Thank you
@airassault762 жыл бұрын
The entry hole would be just that: a hole. The forward impact of a bullet on any surface will push the material out the back. So yes, these are exit holes.

Pull it out and just have fun..There are paints available now that are just pour and shoot. You can slowly hone your craft while learning more and more about mixing and technique ..Its really not hard at all to just do basic painting. Bullet holes and flames are for advanced painters. Theres many other things you can do with an airbrush though...I started with noi help at all. I just learned by having fun and trial and error..I learn something new just about every time I pull it out and start a project

I use Trident airbrush colours which you can safely clearcoat over, you can also get Createx colors or use house of Kolor urethanes if you don’t want to use waterbased all are safe to either acrylic or two pack clear. Hope that helps 👍🏻 In regards to shadows maybe add a little dark grey around the bullet hole which blends into black to allow for shading .

I've looked at the Store's in USA but the shipping doubles the price if not double more! I've looked on Fasttech but there's so many varying in price's. I would be very grateful for any help/advice/recommendation you can give. SUBSCRIBED so I can study how it should be done. BIG THUMBS UP ALL DAY LONG 👍😊👍
