@@soteed I am sure, he already is. Somebody, who keeps re-traumatizing own sister by proxy (through a toxic friend), is not capable of a real love. The dude is abused on a daily basis and now after getting married, she will lose all the last boundaries. I am glad that he confronted her on her friend's toxic speech. Eventually, she will be left with the toxic friend, up until she finds out, the friend flirts or sleeps with her husband...

I get upset at all the ways people don’t understand how an assault can mess with your daily life. At the same time, if they have to go through something terrible to understand, I don’t wish it upon them. There is ZERO SHAME if a person needs anti-depressants! I will be on anti-depressants for the rest of my life. Why? Brain chemistry. My brain/body does not produce the necessary chemicals to keep me 'normal'. If I am off my meds for more than a day, I get headaches. If I am off my meds for more than 2-3 days, I get suicidal. I've tried to kill myself twice, once at age 13, the second time at 57. My older brother saved me the first time from an overdose of sleeping pills. The second time, my daughter ran into the garage, opened the door and repeatedly screamed at me to turn off the car. Anti-depressants for me is like insulin for a Type 1 diabetic. If you need medication to help you live a normal life, that is 100% okay - and fuck anyone who says different!

It’s amazing how when OP’s niece stole, it was just pixels on a screen, but when OP brute forced her way into her niece’s account to return the favor, suddenly the in-game items mattered and it wasn’t fair.

OP's sister sadly has to come to grips with the fact that her sister does hate her. And the sister's best friend validated her warped perspective. She only wanted to give her friend a clean conscience. The sister didn't care about OP at all! The sister better be ready, though, because people like her best friend don't stay friendly forever. She's going to turn on the sister soon enough and start making her the butt of ugly jokes. And the sister won't be able to call it out because she set the standard for such bad behavior. Good on OP for cutting her off!

She's probably the golden child and that's why OP is so over this. She's probably lived through the same type of behavior and isn't gonna let her daughter go through that from her bratty niece. This could have been a valuable lesson for the niece. Greatness takes time and effort. But, niece would rather steal from her cousin and friend. She needs to knock this off or she'll be friendless

I also have OCD, and I feel you. Luckily, my immediate family has always been patient and loving, even when they didn’t understand. But outside of my family, it has always been a struggle with friends and romantic partners. Well, until my fiancé. He is still learning exactly how much of my life it impacts, but he always gives me the benefit of the doubt. The more you come to understand the scope of your own OCD, the better you get at explaining it to others, the easier it is for them to understand. It’s hard to understand something they have no experience of, and I wouldn’t wish for anyone to have to go through this. However, not understanding someone has never stopped me from being kind and assuming their best intentions. If someone can’t at least be kind, then I’ve learned there is no point in trying for understanding.

😮Had to pause story 1 in the update to take a minute to cool down. OPs "sister" and her friend are absolutely vile, they are the types of people who drive others to self deletion. OP is so much better off without trash like that in her life, I really wish OP the best on her healing journey and hope she realises she's a thousand times better than people like that. The sister and her little buddy need to grow up, their behaviour is the sort of thing would would expect from 13 year old bullies, not adults. I truly hope the sis and her friend don't have children because they're not the sort of people who should be allowed to rub off on an impressionable child. Even worse, if their children ever develop mental illness then are they going to be equally abusive towards those children? Scary to think about.

So for reference on the last story. I play Roblox with my little siblings and nieces, we all play royal high and as the only adult I do spend money on it. We’ve been playing that game for YEARS and my little sister just recently got her first halo. That game is RUTHLESS with money 😅 Everything is expensive and the drop rate of halos are extremely low. Not to mentioned it takes forever to gain enough in-game currency to buy any of the good items, hence why I just spend money and give the items to whatever family member wants them. So yeah I can 100% see why OP’s daughter was so upset when ALL her items were gone.
