I think having Hojlund, Mount, Ugarte for Zirkzee, Casemiro, and Rashford probably will help a ton. Just right now we can't play the same lineup every game. We have to rely on our full squad. But I thought against Bodo/Glimt we were a lot better with our press and their goals were more down to either mistakes or in Malacia's case fitness.

One of the things that better me the most is that they simply do not cover the passing lanes , like at all . Its so easy to pass through the lines for oppositions . Zirkzee is great the other day but he's far too slow imo . Those front 3 other than Bruno really should step up their shadow covering and cutting passing lanes if the defenders cant press high with the team .

Can they possibly help out each other more when shadow covering and cutting passing lanes? Could they benefit from more actively using loud cues or warnings in certain situations. Or just equip'em all with EarPods for directions!? I'm sure no one from the opposition will notice! :)

Considering the gaps we gave away between the defence and midfield under ETH I already consider this an improvement, but our defenders needs to be more assertive and step up more often, which will trigger Onana to play a bit more like a sweeper at times.

When Chelsea dominated the league with the same formation, they used Nemanja Matic and Ngolo Kante in midfield. Two players that cover a hilarious amount of ground per 90. Realistically, we only have Ugarte that is anywhere close to that in midfield. Mason Mount could do it but I'm not on board with the idea that he belongs in a midfield two

After watching this I feel we will get battared our midfield is empty Ugarte feels like the only person good. Rashford and Bruno look like they have no defensive responsibility. The leave the channels too open and any decent team would make use of those half channels meaning for us not to concede our box defence needs to be immaculate which I can’t bet a dollar on
