We saw this recently and we loved it. We thought that Will Smith was a brilliant Genie in his own right and we loved the new slant on the story. Jafar could of been a bit more menacing but that is our only criticism. Thank you for sharing these facts with us. ☺️

I appreciate this insight into the new movie. I've been curious, but wary. The trailer made it look like abit of a bollywood spectacle (which is great and i was kinda excited to see more foreign flair in disney films) On the downside, i was'nt too impressed by the video that came out of Will smiths Rendition of "Prince Ali" Which is SHOCKING given he has a musical track record thats been decent in the past. But after watching your video, and seeing some of the changes made, i may not see this in theaters but will give it a look once it comes to online viewing platforms/DvD

I was initially skeptical about Will Smith and "Prince Ali", but ended up loving Will Smith's performance and the "Prince Ali" scene in the movie. It turned out to be a lot more fun and impressive than what was shown in the video. Overall, I was very pleasantly surprised with the new Aladdin and hope you enjoy it as well!! 😀

I went in ready to hate it. The opening song didn't help, but by the end I ended up enjoying it. They made very good chances to the script, but the singing wasn't good. This would have been better as not a musical if they weren't gonna made the songs sound better.

I saw it and don't recall a new duet, but I'll take any Disney musical so I liked it. Sloppy CGI in some places, but see that in a lot of movies these days. Will did fine being himself. Was not a fan of Jafar portrayal.

I saw it last night and found out that they cut the duet from the movie. Loved Will Smith's performance, but have to agree that Jafar was a little lackluster (and not very intimidating!!)
