Thanks to your excellent high def slow motion videos, I noticed that Giulia hits her right knee on the pull on her 82 attempts, and her 100 clean. The scratch marks are very clear in your high quality video. Her 83 snatch didn't have this issue, which might have contributed to its success.

yes, slow motion has its advantages, allowing you to see the athlete's technique. Also, pay attention to the right foot, this may indicate the distribution of the load in the pull

treat every lift with two things in mind keep the bar close to you in all lifts and in the jerk as small a split as you can manage also aware of a short split enabling you to push back on your front foot and not getting stuck bar close and strong second pull the bar will land right in the grove then up

@@apxsports5904 I don't think it's virtue signalling. It's an honest review of the title and maybe some of the content. And I'm a huge Torokhtiy fan. There are comparable videos in terms of content and title when it comes to men's lifting (Max Lang, Toshiki Yamamoto). She is sexy but that doesn't have to be included in the title/content because it's not relevant to her lifting. The title and pic had nothing to do with bringing me here. Following @Torokhtiy did. And I think it's a great video. @Tom Churchill However, the video is pumping up women's weightlifting which is amazing! And, he may be asking her some questions from his/her followers (somewhat lame). And of course, the title may be slightly lost in translation. He could be trying to say, "The strong and beautiful Giulia Imperio" or something, which is not cringe-worthy. They have massive respect for eachother. And, he does ask her many questions about weightlifting and brings up lots in his own narration. Remember she's at a competition, not much time to ask her questions. And he may be trying to keep things light-hearted because athletes are already stressed about training/competition related issues and she doesn't need/want him stressing her out. As he's an olympic athlete himself in weightlifting, he knows this and probably asked her that stuff to keep her relaxed before competition. In other news, Eleiko has copied Klokov's plate style.
