Alesis dm10 Xtalk settings

I’ve had my Elise’s DM 10 for 10 years and barely played it at all, but I moved two years ago and now all of a sudden the module when turned on is unresponsive and just makes a lot of high-pitched alien squealing sounds… What happened and what do I do to remedy it?

@Shayne08 make sure under the settings it is on switch and not piezo. Piezo will will require you to hit it harder switch will produce a constant sound which to be honest you mainly want from a ride bell.

how do i assign the different voices or instruments to create my own kit

How is your ride cymbal bell? I have the same kit but I have to strike the bell on the ride pretty hard for it to sound

great help with this video setting up my wife's settings am I right in thinking a lady will require more sensitivity? She doesn't hit that hard .many thanks':)

Yes have a play around with more sensitivity and see what results you get.
