You got to admit though, that ENFPs' attention span is as adorable as a 6 month old golden retriever puppy (better metaphor...puppies are happy, outgoing, a lil mischievous - getting into innocent trouble when no ones looking...loves jumping excitingly on people, licking their faces while wagging their tails). But seriously...living in the present moments is a "huge relief " for an INFJ's mind that mostly thinks either in the past decoding people's intentions or in the future, planning stuff. Why we love the ENFPs and ENTPs being in the present time frame...being around them is like drinking from a cool refreshing running spring for an INFJ...and ENTP's keeps us sharp as a whip, too.

The part "world is lucky to have ENFPs" & "Their message bring people to tears" made me emotional. You're spot on - every ENFP needs to calm down a little and think 'Am I healthy, happy first of all' which is extremely important to oneself if you ought to help others. I've been feeling so low with past 1.5-2 years during the pandemic - lost people interaction, miss going out with friends. While I was thinking I'm in a dark place, I did find a good take away on how to develop your introverted sensing while you're alone and keep a positive frame of mind. Thank you! :)

The curse I have found being an ENFP is that people I get close to "become alive" from my energy, they evolve and leave. I assume everyone is going to leave. I've just accepted that is how things are. Sometimes they come back once they realize that I was a light and maybe they didn't fully develop it themselves. I want to help people evolve, so, I don't know if that is a win if they come back. I skipped through the video, so idk if INTJs were mentioned. My best friend is an INTJ. We just started talking again after time apart. The world can rest now.

I do like a lot of what she is saying here. It definitely hits home. As an enfp, to my enfp’s, if you struggle with schedules, time blindness and impulsivity in emotions, get checked for adhd. Medication can help you do things like be one time after you tried really hard and then someone distracted you in the hallway before the meeting.

7:40 We test ideas in the moment, we are exploring truth distilling it to a fundamental new essence we have come in contact with. Only when we are done do we concretize this exploration. During this process we do not ourselves believe everything we say as we explore. Sometimes this exploration takes a long time. We are trying on truth to see if it fits. Only when it fits do we make a purchase at The Objective Reality Boutique.

Wow. I finished the video now and I want to thank you from the bottom of my ENFP heart. I felt really seen and valued as ME, which is so important to feel and so rare to get as an ENFP, because many people don´t get us this well. This really spoke to my heart, I know this is me. It´s great to get an "outsider" perspective to ENFP, from a very intelligent person who also knows many ENFP:s in real life. I´ve read and listened to a lot of info about MBTI and ENFP:s during the last two years, and this is one of the best if not the best video so far. I´m so happy that you didn´t go to all the stereotypes of the ENFP:s as these funny scattered-brain puppies, maybe that´s the way we seem to be for people who are shallow or who don´t know us at all, but it´s so annoying and it's surpassing what we really are. We really are bringing great value to this world. But it has been a long and difficult road to get to understand that and start to believe in myself (as I believe in others). This video took me one step closer to seeing and appreciating myself. Happy holidays and blessings to you!

"ENFP:s need a meditation rutine, a reading routine, a writing routine..." yes that would be great but do you realise how many routines that already is?! I have a meditation routine but the other two I just can't keep up a routine with, because routines are HARD for me and I also need to keep up a routine with eating, sleeping, washing my teeth & face, cleaning, cooking... it's just so many routines to keep up. I feel like routines are very important to keep me healthy, but I don't have a natural muscle for them, so keeping them up is always a bit of a struggle and takes a very long time to get to a point where it happens with little effort. All these routines are already taking up my energy, I don't know if there is any way to make it easier. Anyway, thanks for your videos, I just found them! (And should be sleeping already) - ENFP

My goodness! THIS! Your comment so clearly reflects how I often feel that I read it in my own voice... as in, I could almost audibly hear myself sharing this out loud with my INTJ husband. I struggle in the same way. I am miserable without any routine, because my body needs that self care (what she was saying is so very true). I also severely struggle with routine because it seems to take every ounce of my focus and time to be able to do a workout, housework, time in prayer and for quiet reflection, my normal daily job and hygiene routines daily. When I finish with only those things... there is NO time for exploring new ideas, socializing, spending time with my husband or relaxing. And when I don't have that side of things... I emotionally melt down and I crack and I burn out. Meanwhile, the INTJ just seems to effortlessly and methodically get it all done and still has time for fun. It takes me twice as long as him to complete every task, too. So, that doesn't help. The struggle is real and I've been wondering how to fix it for several years now. I will be really consistent with a routine for a while, but then it all crashes when I crack or when some scheduled event that doesn't allow for the daily routine is thrown into the mix. What do people do when they have 3 evening engagements and a full weekend all in the same week? Where do they rest? How do they get up so early and yet finish all the things early enough for a decent bedtime? I just don't comprehend it. It is the single largest source of stress in my life.

I have tested for over 20 years as an intj. Recently I was typed by a typing professional an enfp. I was told that enfps often test online as intjs. Very interesting learning about this type. I can see why having fi and te higher up, just like intjs, would allow me to type as intj. I am also very ambiverted. Still trying to wrap my head around why I would test as having ni instead of ne so often. The si as wanting memories makes sense to me. I have always journaled and kept photos. I read my old journals quite often to see and connect past me with present me. My intj friends never connected with me on this. They didn't want to really remember past too much. Anyone have thoughts on this?

@dogdonut3, I have read that an ENFP's shadow type is an INFJ. I wonder if those 20 years were fraught with stress or if you were in equilibrium? When I was in my darkest moments, my INFJ mentor, who is an Executive Coach & Enneagram expert, typed me as an INFJ. I was like WTH‼️ I've always been an ENFP without a doubt, this lady is off her rocker. But the thing is, she saw so much of herself in me that she was like this girl is an INFJ like myself. Because I was exhibiting my INFJ qualities due to being in severe stress. Turns out that when we are super stressed and in our dark phases, we'll act like INFJs so that could be a reason that you were mistyped. Additionally, ENFPs & INFJs rely on the same but opposite cognitive functions in the same order. ENFPs = Ne > Fi > Te > Si while INTJs = Ni > Fe > Ti > Se.
@dogdonut3 Жыл бұрын
@Jasmine Barry You could be on to something. I will think on that. I've been finding so many youtubers who have channels based on their type, now coming out as being mistyped. I see a lot of flaws in the typing system. I'm wondering if over the years there might be an overhaul to the whole theory of typing. As many other things, we may find humans are on a spectrum and it it very difficult to box them in with just 4 letters...at least with any accuracy. Just my opinion as I've been working my way through all of this. I think it supports your idea too, because we might present as many different types throughout different stages of our lives. Thank you for your interesting and thoughtful comment!

Which function or combo would you attribute this to? I find myself doing this with my friends. I have a good understanding of how I should word things based on the individual and how they are likely to react. Is this like an Ni understanding thing maybe?

Hmm interesting questions! let me think on this for a sec... I think it could be many functions, Te may say "I want to tailor this to the viewer for maximum effectiveness in communication." Ni may say "I want this to be transmitted from my head to theirs" Fe may want to meet others' needs... so yeah could be many 😂 But I do think Ni-Te or Ni-Fe are particularly conscious of it.

@m_n_a_b7 ай бұрын
@@dogdonut3I think your insight is likely. I'm ENFP, and in social gatherings "seem" to have more Fe, but really, it is just that I am wanting to check on individual friends and make sure they are doing okay. I especially do this when I notice someone specific seems to be a little "off" that day and unlike themselves. I like to be there to support them. I also like to make sure everyone has refreshments, but only because I care about their individual comfort, not about the group well being. I do this by setting up the refreshments and announcing they cam help themselves. I don't go around taking orders or bringing things to them. I think, "They are adults. They will get it when they want it." However, with young kiddos I ask them what they would like and I assist them. When it comes time to engage in an activity like a board game, I won't be the one in the kitchen cleaning up or setting out drinks, though. I'm right in there playing the game because I value being part of the fun, too. So, I think you are on to something there.
